Hello Dan, hi!, it looks like your printer is either using red as black, it does this when a color is missing, in this case the black ink, the routine is when a color is missing, the printer reproduce that missing color from what ever color is available, so your printout is a near very close imperfect copy. I suggest you clean your printer ink cartridge and cradle for crystallize dried ink. use warn water as a dissolving agent, a damp of warm water on those dried ink will loosen it. Use swab such as ear-buds, to loosen it.

On your advertisement you showed a red case but I notice when I printed out the receipt it shows a black case I wanted a red case

You need to address this to the red and black case people, not us, because you didn't buy from Fixya.

Look at the order carefully, it should specify colour. Sounds like a Canon? The model numbers are different depending on colour. The have text like MG1302-B for black and MG1302-R for red.

Pixma MG6460 is printing wrong colours. Black is red. What to do?

Possible you are out of black ink? Are the color and black cartridges interchanged? If those are solved, I would look into the software end of it. Before you press print, check for options to change color. My guess is that the black is running dry or very clogged. Let me know

I was low on black ink and needed to print flyers , the Epson 630 asked me if i would like to continue printing and use other colors , i pushed yes, and have changed out ink and its still prints in r

Is it possible that you accidentally put the wrong colour cartidges in the wrong spots? Otherwise, it should work fine. Also, the printer's default is usually to print in colour, therefore even pages in black and white will usr colour, which uses up coloured ink. Always check the prooerties when printing to switch to b&w:)

My Xerox 8400 is printing the wrong colors. Where it's red, it's printing a brown shade and where it should be grey, it's printing green. My logo is grey and red and it's printing all grey, but not the...

Try printing a light stripes test page (Troubleshooting, print quality problems, troubleshooting print quality page).

If you do not appear to have many missing jets but the colours are all just wrong it may be that the ink has gone stale. Run a couple of head cleans and you should see the colours start to improve. If it is getting better, all you can do is keep running head cleans until you have replenished all the ink in the printhead well.

This problem is common in situations where a lot of black and white printing is done, with very little colour.
Alternatively, it could be that your wiper/cleaning blade is not cleaning the head properly and is smearing the different coloured inks across the head, or possibly that your printhead is leaking colours but I think the first solution should solve your problem.
Hope this helps.

just chk the properties or the colour cobinations if you choose text for printing out than it will only print text and if it is too dark red that means it is connected with some wrong colour wire

Wrong colour

This could one of a few fairly major problems. The easiest way to track down the fault is start by replacing the consumables - make sure you install them in the correct positions - it is possible on the C1100 to put them in the wrong places!! Change the toners first. Most importantly the magenta and yellow. Print several pages. Use MS Paint or similar to create a page with all four component colours on (cyan, magenta, yellow and black)in large blocks (see image below) and print them full page. Now look at the print and see if any one colour is missing or has reduced density. If you have a spare PCU you should but that in next. Let me know what the print outs look like and we will progress to the next step.
