Question about Pioneer DEH-P7700MP CD Player

1 Answer

I can't get the AUX feature to come up. It goes from CD to radio, but for some reason the AUX setting will never come up now. It used to show up automatically witht he other two, and i would be able to play my ipod, but now it just skips the AUX setting.

Turn off the radio, then push the volume knob in until a menu comes up. I think the first option is changing time, push the knob to the right to go through the menu and you will see AUX:off, push the knob up to turn it on. good luck!

Does this radio come with an AUX jack? I'm try to conect Sirrus radio.

It does NOT have an Aux Out port.

It would require an adapter that goes in the CD Changer port instead.

Turning off sony cdx-gt170 display

Hold the volume button down until the clock setting comes on. Then press the same button until you see "Demo:On" on the screen. Turn the volume either up or down to change the setting and then hold the volume button down until you see "AUX" or "TUNER" on the main screen again.

What is the AUX good for

I use the Aux to plugin my Ipod, amke sure you have it set on. Then it acts as the plugin. it was originally there for XM radio or a tv.

My Aux-in wont work

did you turned aux function?

turn off your player by pressing and holding volume controler.
press and hold longer (~5 sec) it again to turn it on (you should see 'tuner' in the lcd).
push up arrow to select aux and right/left to turn it on.

now you can connect your ipod and select aux (as ussual switching between tuner/cd player/aux)

cheers :)

Aux sound problem

It sounds like you've connected to the front or rear audio RCA output.

Pioneer CD players generally don't have a direct auxiliary input like that - what you'll have to do is get a CD-RB10 adapter(it plugs into the CD changer connector on the back, and your cable would plug into that).

Frustrated sound won't lower

There are several complaints in FIXYA and they are all about this same fault condition....the volume is too high when turned on...

Because of the high number of complaints about this same fault I would suggest that its a manufacturer fault.

So the manufacturer should be contacted about it to ask for your money back..

Cheers From YUBEUT..

I have a pioneer DEH-P3000

Hi nhmteam. I have the solution for you: 1. With your DEH-P3000 turned off, press your FUNCtion button. It's a tiny button towards the upper right of the faceplate. Hold it down until you "ALARM OFF" or "ALARM ON" on the display. Release the button. 2. Press the FUNCtion button again and you should see another feature. I don't remember how many features you need to cycle through, but keep releasing and pressing the FUNCtion button until you see "M-CD ON" on the display. If you miss it just keep going and eventually it will come back. 3. On the right side of your faceplate there is a button with 4 arrows. You will need to push the up or down arrow until the display reads "M-CD OFF". If your display already reads "M-CD OFF", kip to the next step. 4. Press and release the FUNCtion button again and you should see "AUX OFF" on the display. Again press the up or down arrow until the display reads "AUX ON". 5. Now, turn on your unit, then press the INPUT button until the display reads "AUX". You are now ready to use your iPod in the way you always did. Keep these instructions for the future since I believe every time you disconnect the unit from the battery the unit will reset itself and disable your iPod cord. Best regards - TomR
