Washer doesnt fully drain and fills water in on the spin cycle

There is fault on the drain pump, check the tilt of the machine and allow a slight tilt towards the drain so that the residual water flows out easily. If not the drain valve is clogged, check the drain filter.
If the cycle keeps on repeating or going back it can be due to fault within the controller unit or memory.
The leak can be due to failure of the lid washer/gasket which can be confirmed by observing the edges.

Samsung WF350ANR/XAA has an error code FL and door will not lock to start cycle

The FL Code means that the door failed to lock. Turn the machine off and restart the cycle. If this does not clear the error message and the machine does not return to normal, you will need to contact a Samsung repair service.

Hi maytag performa pav3200 failing to do spin cycle - is draining all water out still - any ideas, thanks tim

you may have a stuck tub bearing.tilt machine at a 45 degree angle take off belt and turn transmission pulley both ways. One way will be easy for the wash cycle and other more resistant but should be able to turn i nner tub or else their is your problem. To change this bearing need special tools.

I've got a Smeg DI612CA9 D/wahser. When I turn it on it pumps down as normal but won't stop pumpimg down even when the door is opened. If I leave it for +hrs it will allow me to start a wash cycle, but...

Hello Myles,

Your description suggests water has leaked (and is probably still leaking) into the bottom of the dishwasher under the wash compartment and is tripping the anti-flood protection system. The pump continuing to run even with the door open would confirms that the anti-floop protection has been activated, although the problem could be a fault with the float-switch for this safety feature.

I suspect you have a leak. When you leave the washer for a few hours a certain amount of this water will evaporate. This allows the float to fall deactivating the float-switch so you can start a wash cycle. However, as soon as you start a cycle, more water leaks into the bottom of the washer and the anti-flood protection system trips again.

You really need to have a look under the wash compartment and check for the presence of water there before you do anything else. If there is water in the bottom, pull the washer out and tilt it backwards about 10-15 degrees to allow any water to run out. You should then be able to use the washer again, but if there is a leak, the problem will return fairly quickly, so this really needs to be investigated fully.

If you pull the washer out to remove any water in the base, I'd suggest putting some old towels behind the washer before tilting it, to absorb any water that runs out. I also suggest getting someone to help you tilt the washer as they are heavy and the bottom can slide out when you tilt it.

You should also switch off the dishwasher and the power supply and close the water check valve ot disconnect the water supply hose before attempting this

Hope this helps.

Regards,
BElectric

THE WASH REACCHES DRAIN AND SPIN STOPS THEN ENDS CYCLE

pump is blocked check your filter at the front some have a small drainage tube there to remove the water. failing that tilt back machine slighty open door and remove with a jug, remove filter uscrew and pull and check for foriegn objects i.e coins screws, whilst tilted back squeeze the two rubber tubes to the pump to make sure they are clear or unclip if need be MAKE SURE POWERS OFF lay some towels down sit machine back down slowly there will be excess water and with filter out run machine SPIN ONLY if it does you've solved your problem also check your waste and outlet pipe your waste could be pushed too far down the outlet pipe 6" is adequate enough.good luck

My washer was tilted forward and now it is making a strange noise

the wash arm may be out of alignment now you might see if something fell into the bottom of the machine.

The wife needs her washer fixed !!

First tilt this machine back and examine the belt assembly and then start the timer at spin and note the action. If you see one pulley **** and try to turn check to see if it is the motor. Then try it with the belt off. If the motor spins free let it for 2 minutes to ensure it is not failing. The worse case is the gearcase has failed and will need professional help.
