Question about Frigidaire FRT18B5J Top Freezer Refrigerator
T probably needs a defroster timer. You can take it apart and clean the contacts with some sand paper to fix the old one. It's located just behind the light bulb. You will have to lower the cover for the light to get to it. Defrost the top freezer by leaving it off for a period of time or take the shelves out and blowing hot air into the rear vents until ice melts. Then reinstall timer and plug back in. Get the whole model number and go to appliancepartspro.com to get a diagram. I fixed mine in less than an hour. frt18il6dw
