Hi my dad has a skylux which he bought second hand but it has no reflector mirror. In need of one so my dad can use his telescope for her first time since buying. Please can anyone help??

This place sells telescope replacement parts. You'll need to look to see if there is a model number as well has having the brandname to get the correct size mirror. Occasionally you can find replacement parts on e-bay. This isn't the part you need, but it just to give you the idea that they are there:

My son's mini air hawk 2 helicopter keeps on swaying and he can barely stop it or control it.

I found your question while searching the web for parts for my son's new, broken Air Hawk II. I also found that there are a few different mini helis marketed as "Air Hawk", so I'm not sure that my answer will apply to your machine. Mine came in a box as shown here:

OUR problem, which might be your problem too, is that the cylindrical metal weights flew off the ends of the stabilizer bar at the top of the heli. First, one came off, which threw the heli out of balance, which caused a violent shaking that probably helped the other weight to fly off. Without the weights, the stabilizer can't do its job, and the heli sways. Our temporary fix was to cut two strips of duct tape, 3/4" x 1.5" each, and wrap one strip around the outer 3/4" of each end of the stabilizer bar. This made our heli fly almost as well as it did when brand new.

The heli pictured here is almost identical to ours, and has the same weights on the stabilizer bar - these photos show what our SB looked like before the weights flew off...

Hope this helps... happy flying (we can wish, right?)

I bought a used Galileo FS-120DX reflector telescope on a garage sale. It is missing the eye-piece, instruction book, screw to attach the scope tube to the tri-pod and possibly some weights that attach to...

You may be able to call Galileo telescopes and order the parts.

If not and if the eyepiece is a 1.25 inch (measure the hole in the focuser), then you can buy eyepieces and weights from several different retailers on-line:

The screw you can find at a well stocked hardware store.

Missing parts to the Galileo FS-102NT Telescope

You can contact Galileo scopes directly here;

Some of what you need may be available at a well stocked hardware store.

Eyepieces, and barlows can be bought from many on-line retailers. Here is one:

The CD rom is probably just a planetarium software. You can download free software here:

The scope does not need computer software to operate. However, you will find the free software above very helpful in learning the sky. Color filters are really NOT very useful; only the moon filter is needed which you can buy from the retailer listed above.

Actual proprietary parts like the accessory tray must be bought directly from Galileo telescopes. But a hardware store will have springs and bolts and nuts.

The part that is screwed on the rim of a telescope that sits on the legs of telescope as snapped off i need to find a replacement

Sorry no parts for that telescope. Made in China.

Next time do not buy a low cost cheaply made telescope. Try this web site-

and read my tips on my profile page. You might find something that would fix this at a hardware store-- maybe.

I was given an edu science astrolon 525 power telescope but am missing two parts: the finderscope and the diagonal. Are there replacement parts for this telescope available?

You can buy a diagonal and finder-scope from many on-line retailers. You may need a .965 inch diagonal. Measure the hole in the back end of the telescope.

Diagonals are made in 3 sizes.... .965, 1.25, and 2 inch sizes.

Here are two retailers-

You probably cannot get replacement parts for that telescope. Your next best bet is a well stocked hardware store-- for some hardware to repair the tripod.
