The contact point on the left trigger might have failed already due to wear and tear since there are moving parts, and if there are moving parts there is friction thus likely could damage the contact point of trigger whenever being pressed. The might need to be replaced in that case.

How do you reset all family settings on xbox 360

There are different codes for different 360 consoles and different dash versions:

1. On the 360 dashboard, scroll over to the "System" tab.
2. On the System tab, click "Console Settings".
3. Scroll down in console settings and click "System Info".
4. When the system info box comes up SCROLL TOP THE BOTTOM and type in this sequence:

A box should come up and say, "Would you like to reset the console to the factory defaults?"

Try deleting the old user account from the systems main menu, or just creating a brand new one

Hey guys emmm my mam decided to put a parental password on my xbox 360 so i can't go on facebook without it and i asked her if she could put the password in the other day she just can not remember so...

Ha funny I just answered a question like this a couple days ago.
Now this depends from system to system so you might have to try a couple of these but....
Go to system Then Console settings Then System info Then try one of these following combinations
LEFT TRIGGER, RIGHT TRIGGER, X, Y, LEFT BUMPER, RIGHT BUMPER
LEFT TRIGGER, RIGHT TRIGGER, X, Y, LEFT BUMPER, RIGHT BUMPER, Y, LEFT STICK CLICK, Y, YLEFT TRIGGER, RIGHT TRIGGER, X, Y, LEFT BUMPER, RIGHT BUMPER, D-PAD UP, A, X, A
LEFT TRIGGER, RIGHT TRIGGER, X, Y, LEFT BUMPER, RIGHT BUMPER, LEFT STICK CLICK, X, X
Hopefully one of them works. After that, it should tell you to reset the factory settings, just hit yes and you should be fine.

Good Luck!

Wont let me play my xbox because it needs a pass code. what is the pass code?

A pass code is set of 4 buttons pressed to access a profile or possibly the console if family controls are in place. The code is a combination of x, y, a, left bumper n trigger, right bumper n trigger. The combination can be anything from left, right, left, right on the triggers to a, left bumper, x, right trigger. There is no default so someone must have set it for you. Start guessing ;)
