Question about Toys
Hi,you can get the manual of your crib at the simplicity website for free,or better still you can download it for free at;www.manualnguide.com or www.manualsonline .com,however,these tips will be helpful to you;
Open your box with care. The parts of Simplicity Cribs are packaged in groups that will help you identify the part and match it to an assembly step.
Set aside an hour or so to go over the parts list and instructions. Try not to open the bags and take the parts out. The bags are see-through. You can look at the list and review the contents while they remain in the sealed bags. This will prevent loss before you begin to assemble the Simplicity Crib. While you identify the parts you can use masking tape and a marker to label each bag with the assembly step that it belongs to.
One afternoon should be set aside to work on the bed. If you do not have an entire afternoon to do this, plan ahead to assemble the crib in steps. The first night you can lay the parts out in the order that you will need them. Do this in the baby's room so the parts will not be disturbed until you work on the bed. The next night you can put the mattress support together. On another night you can assemble the rails. Continue working in steps until you get the entire bed together.
Make sure the bed rails work properly and that the mattress support is securely in place. The Simplicity mattress support assembly has a sticker that says "bottom". Be certain to place this sticker facing downward. The mattress support assembly holds the baby's weight and proper installation is very important. Make sure the "s" brackets that are included with the Simplicity Crib has the bend of the s facing towards the inside of the crib on all four of the brackets.
Remember the crib mattress is not included with the Simplicity Crib. You will need to purchase this separately. Read the instructions for the exact size of the recommended crib mattress. Most mattresses are all a standard size but review your crib's recommendation just to be sure.
Utilize the toll free number that Simplicity provides for its customers to report missing parts or if you have questions. According to the Simplicity instruction manual their number as of November 2009 is 1-800-858-8323
