Recently manufactured TV sets like LCDs are desinged to perform with an external receiver device once powered on. LCDs once powered on would display a logo as ready to recieve transmition, shortly without signals, the device should assume standby mode, or power saver mode, possible shut down without reception. Do not expect broken technicallities with new TVs. First, attempt to connect a transmitter device to the TV, for example, VCR PLayer, DVD player, or DIsh reeceiver system. The TV should recognise signals. Alternatively, attempt the TV setting functionality.
consult the TVs user guide for explanation diagnostics.
