The big question IS ~ how will you switch the fan and lights after your mod?

*** DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! POWER OFF FIRST ~ have a DEPENDABLE/BRIGHT flashlight ready!! ***

MARK BOTH ORANGE WIRES at "both ends" with small strips of masking tape: "1" and "2"... )so you should end up with 4 strips). #1 at the Receiver and then #1 at the fan. #2 at the Receiver and #2 at the fan.

Looking at figure 4 ~ "I" would connect WHITE to WHITE.

Then connect (two) ORANGE + BLUE + BLACK wires together... TWIST them tightly-TIGHTLY together. Now TRY a YELLOW wire nut to bond them all together... if that is not large enough use a RED wire nut.

CAREFULLY strip more insulation jacket ~ if needed... then trim to required EQUAL length.

YOU DO understand this will put your LIGHTS AND FAN into a constant ON condition? And I suspect your FAN will be at high-speed?

Black wire, white wire, and tan wire coming from ceiling. New fan has blue, black, white wire and green wire on the bracket how does it hook up

1. Have on hand either wire connectors or electrical tape

2. Look at the wires coming from your ceiling fan. The black wire from the ceiling fan is the hot wire that runs the motor and turns the fan blades. The white wire is neutral and completes the fan circuit. The blue wire is the hot wire for the ceiling fan light fixture. The ceiling fan motor does not have a ground wire.

3. Find the short green wire or the green ground screw on your ceiling fan hanging bracket. Attach the bare copper wire from your electrical box to the short green wire by twisting and orange wire connector to the two wires. If you only have a green ground screw, wrap the bare copper wire around this screw and tighten the screw against the bracket to secure the wire.

4. Match the end of the white insulated wire from the ceiling fan to the end of the white wire from your electrical box. Twist a wire connector onto the two wires to complete the neutral circuit.

5. Connect the black insulated wire from the ceiling fan to the black insulated wire from the electrical box. If you do not have a separate toggle switch on the wall to operate the ceiling fan and light separately, grab the blue wire and place it with the black wire from the fan motor and the black insulated wire from the electrical box. Twist a wire connector to all three wires. If you have the additional toggle switch, connect the two black wires together with an orange wire connector, and then match the blue wire and the red wire together. Twist another orange wire connector on the red and blue wires

240Volt coming from breaker box will have 2 hot wires... and either hot wire is same no matter wire color

How to wire for 220 v

220 is two hots and one ground. If it were me I would leave red orange and white "together",then verify your voltage on remaining wires. 110, 110, 0. If not, youre no good. Try something different. It doesn't matter what "line" goes to what "load" just as long as one of these goes through whatever relay/switch you are using. Good Luck. Hopefully single phase. If motor runs backwards swap wires.

So when the one I went to pull out fell apart before making anything I pulled the other one apart. Okay, on the white plastic there are numbers l(1), ll(2), lll(3). Orange wire l(1), nothing in ll(2), blue wire lll(3). Now on the black plastic, the outlet wires go here: black wire L, white outlet is 180degrees (by orange wire) NEUTRAL SPLICER. Now, white wire from motor goes into the other side of the NEUTRAL SPLICER next to the black wire on the black plastic. This is just above the ll(2) on the white plastic. REMEMBER - NOTHING GOES INTO THE ll(2) ON THE WHITE PLASTIC.

When dealing with older houses, you run into this a lot, but the somewhat newer houses will actually have the 3 wires to hook up the ceiling fans. You can still use your 2 wires, but you will have to double up the motor and light wires. Wire nut the Black and Blue wires together with your Black wire from the house, and the White wires will be tied together for your neutrals. You should also have a green ground wire also, be sure to hook that to a ground in the house too. Hope this helps!

There should be a wiring diagram on the side of the new motor.
The brown and the brown w/ white go to the new capacitor you should have bought with the motor.
The black and white go to your L1 & L2 power source. The remaining wires must be capped off.
