    ============================

Temp sensor in multimedia projectors usually mounted in mid of air flow in light engine. You need to check under that area where 3 LCDs are mounted. Temp sensor would be little tube type with two wires of connection.
I'm afraid, no schematics/ service manual is available for that model so you need to work with your experience.
    Thanks.

the FSM book covers this.
how to test the fan.
you do this parked.
with a scan tool first. look for dtc errors hot.?
make sure the ECT reads correct using the SCAN tool.
180F+ is good.
the let car idle. it will overheat idling, they all do, but not in Alaska.

as the temp hits the PCM thresholds , the PCM commands on the fan and it runs, dropping temps back to 180F
(can i assume you put in a new thermosat with rad.
that be the perfect moment, they are short lived parts
and the numbers stamped on it it must be OEM spec, temp.
nothing else.

The fan relay closes at too hot temp (PCM decides)
the coil on relay goes to 12vdc (meter across pins)
if coil is 12v and 12v out of relay to fan is 0v.
then the relay is bad.
if the coil never goes hot, we have a serious problem.
the ECT must see the overheat, if there is an air pocket at ECT
it will not read temps, true, but why low, .
and fan will no come on.
that is how it works. most modern car.

Have replaced the main control board, and all the control panel lights now work, compressor comes on, fan inside comes on, but fan at bottom of refrig does not. Checked all connections and all is good....

Set you refrigerator controls at their middle settings. Put a thermometer in both sections. Check after several hrs. Freezer temp should read near 0 and fresh food temp between 38 and 42 degrees. Those are normal operating temps on most refrigerators.

2000 acura tl coolant fan after fluid change

New thermostat, installed, saw, new coolant made a little mess filling reservoir, (normal) checked fan fuse for some reason, and condenser fan fuse (xxx ?:), and temp guage, is slightly lower on gauge (than normal?) (disconnected xxxx? quit? a bit? to get to thermosta?.t no dash warning lights have a feeling I popped a relay.

Answer:

ok, you did a coolant service with STAT,

and it failed.

tell us what works right and wrong, symptoms only.

over heating? parked, (fan never comes on)? as it hits 225F?

under heating? ( fan stuck on , up North can cause huge cold engine)

dash gauge stuck low. (thermostat wrong heat range 180f is best. see FSM for spec. on this temp. spec..

Dash guage varies.? oddly (air in system)?

Dash gauge too high.? (Stat put in upside-down or bleed hole (jiggle) not UP side. higher side of mount , trapping air.)

Does something wrong happen only driving?

leaks?

does cap on rad hold 12-14psi pressure, hot.?

if car has fan belts, are they tight? (for sure water pump does)

yap it has a termo sensor, if it fails, your fan wont turn on, and also check the auxilliary fan relay.

This sounds like the fan is not coming on, also the missing tstat worries me as too you may have exhaust getting into the coolant and restricting the coolant flow, this is an old trick that works for a little while until the leak gets bigger, i would first have a block test done, this test will tell if exhaust is in the colling system, if it passes this test then run it until it starts to overheat then see if the fan works, it sounds like you may have a bad cooling fan, hope this helps, good luck.

You have two fans, one should cycle if the engine gets up to temp. say 190degs. The other should come on if you turn on the A/C. So start the engine check the fans, then turn on the A/C recheck the fans. One should be running with the A/C on. If not, this is the cause of your overheating problem. Check all your fuses, go to a local parts store and have a clerk check the fan relays.

Cer runs hot newrelay&temp fan dosnot seem to

If the relay and temp fan are new, and the old ones did work but not very well. Try putting on the old ones again and see if they will even choke. If they do, then it could be your new product. The only other solution i can come up with besides that, is an electrical issue, which i know from exp. can lead to a $1500 bill... good luck

Fan motor not working

It sounds like the water pump is not moving any water or there is not enough water in the system. This would leave the radiator cold - i.e. no fan, and the engine hot, i.e. temp light.
