Hmmm... well there could be an air leak in your box, something hitting the suspension inside the box like a broken tensil lead or most likely you have a voice coil that's getting ready to **** out. I've heard this many many times and usually that's what it is but I've been suprised by a broken tinsel lead a time or two.

My kicker 12 inch cvr's arent hitting as hard as they should

amps and wiring kits are very optimistic on the output. If you want proper wire, buy some welding cable "0" or "00" guage. That solves the power delivery. Put a 1 Farrad (or more) capacitor near the amp, that solves the surge power issue. Make sure the box is suitable for the subs. Lastly I'd say do some research and find the right amp that can deliver the clean, huge current required to move some serious air!

2 kicker cvr 12's in prewired kicker box with 1 wire terminal, kicker cx1200.1 amp. Whats the best way to wire this combo?

Well you really can't run both speakers on one term. because you will over heat the amp , unless your amp is rated at twice the capability of your subs , Then if so , Try positive to one sub , then neg. to the other sub , then bridge the remaining positive to the remaining negative terminal , But it is really best to get a two channel amp for your subs !!!

My (2) 12 in kicker cvr subwoofers are connected to a 3000 watt amp in a ported box. Once I turn my music up sofa they sound distorted how do I fix this problem

turn down the gain and the preout in the head if it supports it. also turn down the frequencey to 80. also dont over shoot the speaker by turrning up the bass on the head unit and then turning up the volume.

if the unit completely stopped working try connecting the speaker to the working speakers connection, if it still doesnt work then you have seized the speaker, basically the driver is shot and the speaker is dead. you might have a warranty but usually you can smell the burnt coil. turn down the gain and the frequency on your amp as it is not properly tuned and will cause dame like this as well. if you are not certin take the car to a install shop and have them tune and balance you system for you.

My kicker amp turns off

It sounds like you may have the load impedance too low. How many voice coils per woofer? How many ohms is each coil? If you have DVC woofers, are the coils for each woofer wired in series or parallel? Are the speakers wired in series or parallel. Let me know if you need me to clarify anything.
