Have you reset the web counters in service mode? Also, was this the problem before you replaced the webs? If not, you may have one of the flags in the wrong place or you may have a bad sensor.. Good Luck....

Gmail problems small fonts to small


Reduce / Increase Text Size on My Gmail

Between the message list, search bar, labels and chat window, GMail's web interface displays a lot of information.

If your web browser is displaying all of these items in a large font, they may not fit comfortably on your screen.

Fortunately, you can easily change your web browser's text size on Gmail to ensure that all of the components fit.

Alternatively, you can use a special GMail Labs feature to change the default text size for all of the emails that you compose.

Navigate to your GMail inbox in your web browser.


Hold the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard and press the "-" key. Your web browser will shrink all of the text on the current web page.

You can repeat this step to shrink the text even more.

Hold "Ctrl" and press "+" to increase the text size if you shrink it too much.
Gmail Default Font

Navigate to your GMail inbox and click the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Select "Labs" from the drop-down menu.
Scroll down to "Default Text Styling" and click "Enable."
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes."
Click the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen and select "Mail Settings." Click the "TT" icon in the "Default Text Style" section. Select "Small."

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes." Your new email messages will automatically use GMail's small text size.

How can i change web address bar from bottom to the top ?

May i know which windows are you using? If its win 8, you can not change the style of the address bar. If its not then try to disable navigation toolbar or address toolbar and then enable it.

Reload the printer drivers, you can get this from the manufacturers web site under support or downloads.
its a common error and an easy fix.

Can i secure my network using wrt54g? some unknown user is accessing my network. How can i have security on my network? thanks.


To secure your Linksys WRT54G wireless router, follow these steps:
  1. Open your Internet browser and enter the following in the address bar: http://192.168.1.1.
  2. Note:

    If you have changed the IP address of your wireless router, enter that into the address bar. By default, the address is 192.168.1.1.

  3. Enter the user ID and password for your router. If you haven't changed it, the default password is "admin". We will change it later if you haven't already changed it.
  4. You should now see the "Basic Setup" Web page display in your browser. Scroll down the page until you see "Maximum Number of DHCP Users".
  5. This option will assign a specific number of IP address to computers. If more than this number of computers tries to connect to your router, they will not be able to.
  6. Count the number of computers that will connect to the router, and type it into the "Maximum Number of DHCP Users textbox".
  7. Scroll down to the bottom of the Web page and click "Save Settings". Once the settings have been saved, click "Continue" to return to the Web page.
  8. At the top of the Web page, click the "Administration" option in the menu bar.
  9. On the "Management" Web page, you should see two password text boxes. This is where you should change your administrative password. Type in a new secure password into both boxes.
  10. Once you have changed your password, click "Save Settings" at the bottom of the Web page.
  11. You may be prompted to login again, if you are then enter you new password in the password field.
  12. Navigate back to the "Management" Web page by clicking the "Administrative" option in the menu.
  13. We will now encrypt your connection to your router setup from your computer. To do this click the "HTTPS" checkbox next to the "Access Server" option.
  14. Once again, click the "Save Settings" button at the bottom of the Web page.
  15. You won't get the settings saved page again because the URL in the address bar is not longer correct. Since you have changed your connection to HTTPS, it you need to specify that in the address when you connect to the router setup.
  16. In your browser, change the address to: https://192.168.1.1.
  17. If you get a security error, ignore the error and continue to the Web page.
  18. Login with your password and then click the "Wireless" menu option.
  19. Beside the "Wireless Network Name (SSID)" option, type in a name for you network connection.
  20. Click the "Save Settings" button and the "Continue" button to return to the "Basic Wireless Settings" page.
  21. Click the "Wireless Security" sub-menu option at the top of the page. This is where we will provide the most important security setting.
  22. Next to "Security Mode", select "WPA - Personal" from the drop-down list. If you have trouble connecting to your wireless connection, you can try selecting "WEP", but your connection will be much less secure.
  23. Next to "WPA Algorithms", select "AES". Once again if you have trouble connecting to your wireless router, select "TKIP".
  24. Now you must get very creative. Specify a long "WPA Shared Key" with a mix of upper and lower case letters, numbers and punctuation.
  25. Make sure you write down this key somewhere, either on a piece of paper or in a text document on your computer. You will need this information when you connect to your wireless network.
  26. Click the "Save Settings" button at the bottom of the Web page, and then the "Continue" button.
Now you are all done securing your wireless router and network. All you need to do is connect to your network, and enter your "WPA Shared Key" exactly as you specified it

Wireless connection lost - unable to access properties (error)


You can solve the problem by reseting the router

Plese make sure you hard wire the Router to the computer (Using the Ethernet Cable)

Use the following steps to reset the router using this method:
  1. Open your Web browser and enter the IP address of your router. By default, the address is “192.168.1.1′.
  2. Enter your user ID And password when prompted. Hopefully this has been changed, but if it hasn’t, the default is no ID and “admin” as the password.
  3. At the top of the Web page, click “Administration” and then “Factory Defaults”.
  4. Beside “Restore Factory Defaults”, click “Yes”.
  5. Now click the “Save Settings” button at the bottom of the Web page.
Your WRT54G wireless router should now be reset to the factory defaults.

If you were trying to uncheck the box for Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings you can change it by disabling the "wireless zero configuration"....i guess you are using Windows XP...if it is Windows Vista...you got to disable "WLAN Auto Config"(Not recommended, as vista works best with defualt windows utility i.e. WLAN AutoConfig)

Go to start...click RUN (Or Simply Press Windows Key and Letter 'R' together on the Keyboard)
Type in services.msc
Scroll through the bottom of the page
Highlight Wireless Zero Configuration and do a right click to select Properties
Go to Properties and click on Startup Type and change it to disable
Click on Apply and click OK

Just a small advice do check for any kind to Electro-Magnetic interference caused by any devices like - Microwave,Cordless phone,Mobile,Fridge, or electronic device as they may interfere and may not let the Router and Computer to connect

I have forgotten my wireless password


To reset your router, use the following steps:
Press the reset button for 30 seconds. The settings should now be returned to the factory default settings, meaning any changes you had made would be deleted.
Open up your Web browser and enter “192.168.1.1′ in the address bar. For the login, leave a blank ID and enter “admin” as the password. The router has now been reset. Follow the steps in Securing Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Router to secure your router

Introduction
Your Web server thinks that your URL has been temporarily redirected to another URL. The client system is expected to immediately retry the alternate URL.
302 errors in the HTTP cycle
Any client (e.g. your Web browser or our CheckUpDown robot) goes through the following cycle when it communicates with your Web server:
  • Obtain an IP address from the IP name of your site (your site URL without the leading 'http://'). This lookup (conversion of IP name to IP address) is provided by domain name servers (DNSs).
  • Open an IP socket connection to that IP address.
  • Write an HTTP data stream through that socket.
  • Receive an HTTP data stream back from your Web server in response. This data stream contains status codes whose values are determined by the HTTP protocol. Parse this data stream for status codes and other useful information.
This error occurs in the final step above when the client receives an HTTP status code that it recognises as '302'.
Resolving 302 errors - general
The 302 response from your Web server should always include an alternative URL to which redirection should occur. If it does, a Web browser will immediately retry the alternative URL. So you never actually see a 302 error in a Web browser, unless perhaps you have a corrupt redirection chain e.g. URL A redirects to URL B which in turn redirects back to URL A. If your client is not a Web browser, it should behave in the same way as a Web browser i.e. immediately retry the alternative URL.
If the Web server does not return an alternative URL with the 302 response, then either the Web server sofware itself is defective or your Webmaster has not set up the URL redirection correctly.
Resolving 302 errors - CheckUpDown
Redirection of URLs may occur for low-level URLs (specific URLs within your Web site such as www.isp.com/products/index.html) when you reorganise your web site, but is relatively uncommon for the top-level URLs (such as www.isp.com) which most CheckUpDown users ask us to check. So this error should be fairly infrequent.
The 302 response from your Web server should always include an alternative URL to which redirection should occur. If it does, CheckUpDown automatically tries the alternative URL. This in turn may possibly lead to another redirection which CheckUpDown then tries. This continues for a maximum of 5 redirections. As soon as 5 redirections have occurred, CheckUpDown gives up and reports the 302 error for your account. So you should only ever see the 302 error if 1) your Web server gives no alternative URL on the 302 response or 2) the number of redirections exceeds 5. This second condition should be fairly unlikely - and may indicate a recursive pattern e.g. URL A redirects to URL B which in turn redirects back to URL A.
You first need to check that the IP name we use to check for your account is accurate. If you or your ISP have configured something so that any access using this name should now be redirected to another name, then you need to update your CheckUpDown account to start using the new name.
If you believe that the IP name we use is exact (should not be redirected), please try accessing the current URL using a Web browser. Note carefully which URL actually gets displayed, because your browser may silently switch to a substitute URL if it receives an 302 message from your Web server. If you see any evidence of a new URL, try accessing that directly from your browser. If this works (you see your Web site as expected), then this new URL is what you may need to update on your CheckUpDwon account. If this is a temporary redirection, then you may also need to reinstate the original IP name at a later date when the redirection is no longer effective.
If none of the above help, we can analyse the underlying HTTP data streams we receive from your Web server. These can provide additional information about the new URL(s) which your Web server thinks we should be accessing. Before doing this, we prefer you to identify any deliberate changes on your side, liaising with your ISP if needs be.

This pervasive change is unlikely to occur by accident, so most often we can resolve this error by updating our system records for your account following a deliberate change of URL on your part, whether this change is temporary or permanent.
