I need a cushion for a walk in tub

Did you check with the place you got your tub from? The company that did the installation should have all of the accessories for your walk in tub or be able to direct you to where you could find it. There are plenty of companies that should be able to offer you what you need just take a look around.

Removing rear set for 76 cutlass

I have done this several times, but it has been is a while!
I think it goes like this.
On the bottom front edge of the rear bench seat cushion are two stamped metal "hooks" that secure the bottom of the seat to the floor. These hooky things and their matching loops are about 12 inches inboard from the far end of each cushion, or maybe a little more than a foot on either side of the center. There are matching wire loops are welded to the floor of the car. To remove the bottom cushion, you push the lower seat cushion back toward the rear of the car a few inches, and lift it . Pushing it back a few inches should cause the hooks to clear the loops. It should be hard to do.
The upper rear cushions are bolted with a couple of screws to the trunk firewall. Removing a couple of screws at the bottom will allow the rear upper cushion to be lifted up.
Be blessed.

Is there an alternative seat for the Jazzy? We are trying to find a less plush seat so that the seat will be lowered enough for a Little People user. She can not get up in the seat due to disability.

Yes, this can be accomplished by lowering the seat or raising the foot platform. The cushioned van seat can be removed from the seat frame and a wood platform covered in vinyl can be substituted. Sticky back Velcro strips are put on the vinyl cover to hold the cushion. The sticky back Velcro attaches to the vinyl covered wood platform and will mate up with the Velcro on the bottom of her existing cushion. The back cushion can be left in place. Pride makes this flat platform for all their models. You would need to specify the dimensions and style of the original seat to order the custom one. There is a manufacturer sticker under the seat with a series of numbers you can give to customer service at pride to help get the correct replacement platform. You can also raise the foot platform on the vertical adjustment post or attach a foot platform to the top of the footplate.
If this modification is not covered by insurance you can have a handyman remove the cushioned van seat and hack off the cushioned foam, springs and vinyl. He could then cover the wood with a durable material or sand and paint it before reinstallation.
Hope this helps.

What are cushioned shoes? I am looking at walking shoes and am not sure which type I should go for.

Cushioned shoes are usually very flexible. They are not the best type for support. If you have high arches or neutral feet that don't need any special type of support you can buy cushioned walking shoes.

Remove rear seat in a towncar

The rear seat bottom cushion is attached with hooks,no tools should be needed to remove the seat bottom.lift slightly up on the cushion with one hand, and use the other hand to "thump" the front of the cushion towards the back of the car.(one hook on each side, thump the seat about 12" from the side)

Hi. Just got a new Jazzy Select 6 Ultra, with the seat lift. Only now am I finding out that the seat lift raises the minimum height of the seat so much that I can't fit under a normal size table. I have...

There are several approaches to a solution tof the problem you are experiencing.
This chair may have a standard van seat or rehab seating. A standard van seat looks like an SUV seat and a rehab seat has a custom seat and custom back. FYI, the Jazzy Ultra 6 specification for the seat actuator is 4 inches of stroke or elevate.
If you have a van seat the cushion will be too high in its lowest position.
If you have a van seat the vendor can switch it out for rehab seating. Rehab seating is a seat pan (flat plate) with a cushion set on top of it. By varying the cushion thickness you can raise or lower what is technically called the seat to floor height measured from the top of the cushion to the floor. This is what you describe as the minimum seat height.
If you already have rehab seating, you might try a thinner seat cushion, going from 3" to 2" with a denser material.
The chair frame and actuator dimensions are locked in so this dimension cannot be altered. On some occasions, I have been able to remove some top actuator frame plates, but this will only help with about 1/4" of height and substantially weakens the seat to top of actuator mounting. Sometimes this reinforcing plate will be on the bottom of the actuator in the battery box frame.
The chair can go back to the factory and a custom modifications to the seat frame can be made. This is always easier and more cost effective on the front end at time of order of the chair. An inquiry would need to be made to Quantum (Pride) to see if this is even possible.
You may also be able to get a Motion Concepts custom, i.e. shorter actuator (less than 4 inches of stroke). This will also decrease your elevate to less than 4 inches.
Your provider and an experienced rehab tech can come up with some viable solutions. Hope this helps.
