How can i fix hp ink cart. if the strip was touched? Wont print that color anymore..black. its a full cart. but it just doesnt print it anymore.

You simply cannot. Once ESD field was broken to the touch that ribbon on the cart. is no longer serviceable meaning you cannot recharge it or nothing. You simply just have to purchase another or try to get a refund on it by taking it back to the store or sending it to HP.

Sorry that is just the way the ball bounces I know you where looking for a way out of this issue.

I like being honest instead of costing you more money..

Yellow not printing on test print -

You either have a leaking cart or the print head has become cross contaminated. Remove all the carts and check the feed hole under each of them. Make sure they are the color of the ink in the cart. Remove the print head and, using a damp cotton bud (water ONLY!) give the print head a clean. DO NOT use the same cotton bud for all sponges.

If that doesn't solve it then take the print head to a re-inking firm and have it cleaned professionally. Won't cost much and will hopefully solve the problem.

When you say you get blank pages do you mean the printer goes through the process of printing (i.e. head whizzing back and forth, page advancing one line at atime) but no ink actually reaches the page? If so, you should try an under head cleaning session - check my previous post here for details: http://www.fixya.com/support/t137335-problem_print_outs_from_printer If this is not the problem you are experiencing, please give a little more detail be adding a comment to this post. Also check that there is actually ink in the carts Shake them gently and listen for the sloshing and see if they are heavy enough. This is especially relevant if you use refilled carts. As carts are refilled the capacity is gradually reduced, so you will get less prints per refill and the printer will not realise they are empty. As far as the paper feed goes, get hold of some platen cleaner and clean the feed roller that grabs the paper and feeds it in as well as the seperator rubber. This will return thier 'grippyness' and help prevent the multi page grab. Also ensure the cork pad is dust free.
