Question about Saeco Odea Giro Plus Coffee Maker
I have the Saeco Odea Giro Espresso Maker, and the bottom alarm light is on (looks kind of like an M and is red) I have cleaned the entire unit. I don't know how to descale it however... does anyone know how to do this? and does anyone know what that light means???
It means time to descale , however if you want to get rid of it, just press and hold the water button until it goes off.
To descale..fill the container with descaler and let water goes through the system by openning the valve and catch the descaler with a container. Turn off the machine a few minutes and start the process all over again for 1/2 hr, and finally with water to wash the system.(donot want to heat up the descaler too much)
