3.15 amp/250v fuse keeps blowing out

The fuse has blown out 3 times and I don't know why as I don't know what it is protecting. I am using continuous draining as I thought it had something to do with the drain pump, but it is still blowing out.

Do you have a raised ceiling in the 15x15 room.Is this Ac new?If it is I would try to take it back and buy a larger unit .Maybe block windows with shades that might help.

Klh subwoofer keeps blowing it's fuse.

Most likely the amp in the sub has blown. It will need repair or replacement. I'd take it to an expert in repairing amps, it's not a job for you unless you're experienced in troubleshooting these things.

Automatic transmission not shifting gears

Replacing any fuse after it has blown ,your almost
guaranteed it will blow again

At least you know the circuit with the problem

Now you go to factory wiring diagrams, to see what that
fuse controls & do some testing

Have to have wiring diagrams,be able to read them & know
basic electricity & be able to test your vehicle, then you have
to be able to continue on with professional tools, once the fuse
issue is resolved, if the fuse keeps blowing every few days

You could have wiring issues, more likely inside the trans in the oily
environment ,you could have solenoid or module failure or mechanical trans issues

I would say you can't resolve at home, need professional help

Where's the fuse for the AC on 98 Olds 88?

So what does the fuse that blows, protect?

You need a wiring diagram & start to test
the components most likely to cause a high
current draw & blown fuse.

Don't keep replacing it.

You know the fan control circuit works, but the
compressor doesn't stay on. Did you monitor
the compressor as the fuse blew?

May have a module for compressor & fan
If so one side failed
The compressor clutch could be bad

Panasonic DMR-EZ48V keeps blowing fuses.

I don';t like to replace fuses with the power on. the fuse is meant to protect valuable parts; this error mode indicates a probable fault internnaly. NEEDS to be serviced.

Brand new used 12 times-would not turn back on pulled cover and internal fuse was blown. shutoff procedure using on/off switch only. accessible from back fuse holder should have been used for cases...

if you're blowing fuses, there is a reason. the most prevalent reason for this is shorted speakers, while the final amp is supposed to be protected by fused speakers, many times they don't work fast enough to protect the amp. If this unit is brand new like you say, put the old fuse (blown one) back in and close the unit up, hopefully you haven't destroyed the tab that shows the case had been opened, this unit should be under warranty, take it back or send it back (with authorization) to where you bought it, don't tell them you opened up the case or you will void warranty. good luck

Rf top ac on rv keeps blownig the 3 amp fuse

The 3 amp is 12 Volt protection for the control board. If that fuse is blowing instantly, then you have a short in the 12 Volt system somewhere. More than likely it is somewhere between the Thermostat and the control unit. Check to see if you have 12V at the thermostat. If so, then disconnect the red wire from the thermostat and the red wire at the control unit. At the control unit side, use an Ohmmeter to see if you have continuity with ground. If so, that wire is the culprit. If not, reconnect the red wire and continue to the next wire. Do this until you find the wire that is shorted to ground. Of course, the ground wire will not be checked.

Hope this helps,

Jeff

JBL Eon 15 Blown Fuse

These fuses are most likely 3 Amp fuses. Please note that if the replacements blow as well, that there is a problem within the amp section that will require repair.

AR1 Subwoofer Keeps Blowing the 5 Amp Fuse

Well, so far so good. I reinstalled the newly repaired amp and fired it up and so far, so good. Ran it through about an hour of fairly intense break-in tracks and then ran it through about 2 dozen power up and down cycles to try to get it to fail (better now than a month from now and have to fight them on backing it up).
