Where is the fuse box to the air conditioner??

On the outside unit there should be a box that contains 2 fuses. There is also a circuit breaker in the house power panel that feeds the fuse box.

Which fuse goes to air conditioner

  • home fuse box.

  • Turn your car's engine off .Open the fuse box, which is typically located on or under your dashboard. The user's manual that came with your car will have a fuse diagram, indicating which fuse is powering your car's air conditioning system. Remove the fuse with your finger (or with the included metal or plastic clamping device) and examine the end to see if the element inside the fuse is broken, melted or burned. If it is,for this I didn't get your question

How can I tell if the fuse is blown inside my window air condtioner?

window air conditioners do not have high voltage fuses. You should have the outlet going to a dedicated fuse/breaker on your house power panel.

If your unit has a digital display that circuit will have a low voltage fuse. This is common design with all window units that I have seen the last 28 years.

The fuse bloww try replacing it but keep

Has this air conditoner been running on these fuses for awhile, and is it just now starting to blow the fuses? If so then have a short in the air conditioner. If this is the first time you're trying to run this unit on these fuses, then you need to check the rating plate on the air conditioner for the full or rated load amps and see if your fuses or the outlet rating will carry the amps the unit is drawing.

Where is the fuse located in the air conditioner

Is this a split system? If it is then the fuse or breaker is in the disconnect box on the wall by the outside unit. You will see a grey flex conduit running from the unit to the box which is grey, it carries your 230 volt wires. Inside that box will either be fuses or a breaker.
If it's a window unit then it will be the breaker that supplies the power to that outlet.
