Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
The error code is related to the water temperature sensor being out of range, that
is, the resistance of the negative temperature coefficient (NTC)
thermistor is not normal. Check the resistance of the NTC thermistor and
the wiring connections.
Remove the 3 screws securing the top panel to the rear of the washer then slide the panel rearward and off the cabinet. Look for the central control unit (CCU) on the top rear of the cabinet and locate the temperature sensor wiring harness shown in the figure.
Disconnect the wiring harness from the CCU. Check the terminal connection and make sure it is snug fit and corrosion-free then measure the resistance between its terminals. The normal resistance is between 9k ohms to 35k ohms at room temperature.
