Question about Logitech Cordless Mouse
Nice mouse, But i want to download the software. I've tried three times!
1 Twenty minutes to download! That's ridiculous!
2 Do I want Blue tooth? No. You are on the wrong programme!
Come on!!! Get Real!!!
Please give me a simple and short down load option for thisV220 mouse.
The install directions say to go to www.logitech.com/downloads to get the necessary software, however this just leads to several retailers. What to do???? Product is Logitech V220 Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks

dunno if you managed to solve your problem. I downloaded the Logitech SetPoint application, and it solved the problem with the horizontal scrolling. It added many more settings that you can play with, too.
Here's the link I used to download it:
However, if you go to logitech-s website and download the setpoint 4.60 from there, that should work as well. Here's the link to the 4.60 directly:
Hope that helps.

The link IrishDruid does not work for me. I have been at it for an hour, and spoke with the Logitech support person at the number provided. He was clueless and suggested I Google the driver. That is how I got here to be directed back to that same URL again.

NOW FOR AN UPDATE TO THIS THREAD...
I bought 3 brand new Logitech V220 mice and they were not recognized by any of my computers. The below process made them work:
Here is the correct driver/software download for this mouse according to Logitech. It is setpoint472.exe.
This link is the direct download link for the driver/software file for 32 bit XP operating system:
If you need 64 bit XP or another operating system altogether the use this link and follow the prompts:
After you download, just run the app and do not connect the mouse until the program tells you to do so. Also - if the mouse is still a little stubborn connecting - then go to Start > All Programs > Logitech > Mouse and Keyboard > Connect Utility. Run the Connect Utility and follow the prompts. This works great for me on 3 different mice and machines. This should work for all of you as well.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
