It would be difficult to write down all the details here. And it'll take more than one hour if i explain it here. I hope you understand. You can create Ipsec tunnel for different (make/brand) routers in the same way you connect the same cisco routers. First you need is to create a simulation so that you'll not fail during the setups, otherwise it's difficult to deal with it without seeing things in reality. A diagram is also very helpful, you can create one like this..: Please describe your how to - 9b4c9f8.gif

The details instruction from startup to verification is given here https://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps221/products_configuration_example09186a008073e078.shtml, follow the instructions (your ip and and device names will be different). If you are not a certified cisco professional, i would suggest you not to do so, since it's complicated and without proper configuration, you might damage the devices. Good luck

I need to add an ip range to my sonicwall tz 170

This is not directly possible to do with a TZ170 as the device will only allow configuration for 1 static or dynamic IP at a time for the WAN port.

However this being the case, I suggest setting the SonicWALL up as a perimeter firewall and place devices that require the other public IPs form the additional IP range behind the TZ170. Basically the SonicWALL becomes the gateway for the other IPs needed as long as the range of the IP block is contiguous.

This would involve using the 4 ports of the LAN on the back of the TZ170 to connect directly to the other devices or if it is more then 4 devices, using a switch connected to the LAN side of the SonicWALL to provide connectivity to the multiple devices behind it. Most TZ170 are licensed for 10 connections on the LAN side and if you require more then 10, additional licenses will need to be purchased.

I would be careful pushing too much traffic through a TZ170 as it is designed for Small Business use and will quickly become overloaded with too much traffic causing high latency/traffic bottlenecks and in extreme cases connections being dropped. This is especially true for multiple VPNs.

Ipsec problem in asa

Use the ping command to check the network or find whether the application server is reachable from your network. It can be a problem with the maximum segment size (MSS) for transient packets that traverse a router or PIX/ASA device, specifically TCP segments with the SYN bit set.

Private network > VPN > network firewll > priv net

Add a static route on the Sonicwall 2040 : 192.168.1.0/24 with the RV082 as gateway (the ip of the network shared between the RV082 and the Sonicwall)

Another solution is to enable NAT on RV082 for 192.168.1.0/24 network. Routing is preferable.
