Question about Kenmore 91112 / 91114 / 91117 Electric Kitchen Range
The manufacture says it is a bad ERC (Electronic Range Control). This is the electronics behind the clock that showed the F1 code.
I would suspect there was either a power surge of some sorts that fooled the control into thinking there was an error, or the control is beginning to go out.
