Your best bet is to contact Gem Electronics Co. in South Carolina. They have all sorts of old cables.

The diagram for the fish finder has two cables for power. does each cable have a wire going to a hot lead and a groundand a bond or do you just need to connect only one wire

Hi
One of the two cables is for power to the battery while the other supplies power to the transducer. BOTH cables (+ and -) must be used and intact.
In case anyone requires it, here is the link to the installation manual.
Hope this helps.

Need a repair shop for GPS,Fisher

Hi Clarence
Although the problem COULD be a faulty depth transducer, in my experience this is usually caused by a cabling problem, either there is a poor connection at the display unit, a poor power cable connection, RF interference from another device or the cable has been pinched causing an intermittent fault. After making SURE the power cable is tight, I'd clean the connections, then inspect the cable looking for an area that has been stressed. If you have a VHF radio nearby, try shutting that down during your testing. If depth reads normally, you know where your issue lies.

Good Luck!

every once in a while I get sucked in by this site when I really need info I can't find. Every time I check this site, I am disappointed by a site that lures you in and provides no help-just ads....It looks like a forum but the content doesn't warrant all the ads. My LCX15 MT will not turn on

If the power connections are good and clean, you can get a volt meter to test power through the power cable. Unplug the power cable and test for 12VDC across the two big female pins. If you are getting good power, then the LCX-15MT is toast and it will need to be replaced. If you can get a hold of Lowrance support at 800-324-1356 or email at http://www.lowrance.com/en/Support/Product-Support/Contact/ you can get a rebate toward a current model.

Lcx-15ct (gps module not responding)

Before you give up on the LGC-12S you have now though, try plugging the LGC-12S right into the LCX-15CT without an extension cable. If the module not responding goes away...you just need a new extension (GPSX-25G p/n 99-46).

The power cable has a set of yellow, blue, orange, and bare data wires. If these wires short together, you can get the module not responding error.

If all that doesn't help...the LGC-12S is bad.

The LGC-12W p/n 112-06 will work with the LCX-15CT. You probably get this at many marine electronics dealers or go to lei-extras.com and buy it straight from Lowrance. They cost $229 so you might want to shop around putting that money into a whole new system altogether.
Make sure you have the latest software updates if you get the newer LGC-12W. These can be downloaded at http://www.lowrance.com/en/Downloads/Product-Software-Updates/

Let me know if you need more help.

I have a lowrance LMS 332C GPS. After 5 years I

The LGC-2000 is bad would be the most likely cause, but if this started right after you changed the cables, Try connecting the NMEA 2000 network to a different power source than the main power. If you still have the original cables, and you didn't have the problem before, try using those again to make sure there isn't anything wrong with any of the new cables.

But most likely, the LGC-2000 is toast and you will want to contact Lowrance support to see about getting it repaired/replaced.

Need installation for pitot tube(Sspeed Transponder) and lms-332

manuals can be downloaded at http://www.lowrance.com/en/Downloads/Manuals/

You can probably get the parts from a dealer, or any marine electronics retail like Bass Pro and Cabelas or any of those kinds of places.
You can buy accessories from Lowrance at www.lei-extras.com

Not sure about the speed transponder? but if you are referring to the transducer, you probably need to go to this link

http://www.lei-extras.com/store/search.asp?SearchType=Category&Category=200+khz+transducer

That first item, part number 106-72, is most likely what you are referring to.

Lowrance x135 not functioning properly

Had the same issue with another brand. Turned out the transducer cable was picking up noise from other cables (power, trolling mtr. etc). Try moving the transducer cable away from any other cables. I put the cable in a 1/4 " plastic housing up to the point where it was above deck and it stopped all the strange stuff. Not sure about the temp issue??

Lowrance 250c map update

http://www.lei-extras.com/store/search.asp?SearchType=Unit&Unit=iWAY+250C

You need to buy the Navteq map update, but you can call them and send in your memory card they will update it for a reduced cost, since 75 plus 12 shipping is too much just for maps, you can buy a whole new one.
