NEED TO REMOVE CLUTCH CABLE FROM CLUTCH

Loosen the clutch cable adjuster and increase the slack in the cable. Remove the jesus clip on the bottom of the clutch perch at the handlebars. Push up on the pin that holds the cable in the clutch perch and remove the pin. Pull the top end of the cable out of the clutch perch. Remove the trans side cover. There is a ball and ramp attatched to the inside of the cover with a retaining ring. Push the ramp all the way to the front, turn the cable 180 degrees and remove it from the ramp. it is easier to do this if you remove the retaining ring, then take out the ball and ramp. Be careful not to loose the 3 ball bearings! Unscrew the cable from the trans cover and you are done. Installation is the reverse of removal. When reassembling the ball and ramp, it is easier if you put grease in the indentations for the ball bearings, to hold them in place. Before reinstalling the trans cover, make sure the ball and ramp are pushed toward the rear of the bike.

Hi--no air in Busy Ball popper

I had the same problem!! Music worked, but fan just stopped running... Since my kids love their busy ball popper I was determined to find a fix!!
The solution for me was to replace all 4 batteries with identical brand batteries.
When the original batteries had puttered out I replaced them with 2 brand new Duracell and 2 brand new Energizer batteries (because that's what I had on hand). The popper worked just fine and I'd say a few weeks later the fan just stopped working. Music played, but no fan. I thought the fan motor must have gone bad, so I searched for another popper at a resale shop (hoping to salvage the fan motor). Well I found one, but didn't end up using it because I discovered that putting ALL the same brand of batteries in my popper did the trick. The batteries weren't necessarily brand new, but they were all the same brand and I would guess the same "age". Anyway, I'm just glad it all works now (music and fan) and my kids are back to their ball popping fun. If you haven't already give this a try. Otherwise I have a spare ball popper if you need any parts! Good luck!

Hello, my car has recently failed its MOT on the offside (drivers) ball joint and was wondering if you could please help me. I've heard bad things about the garage i am using and i am therefore doubtfull...

Ball joints can have wear without producing any noise. Even slight wear will be classed as an MOT failiure because ball joints are a critical component. The only way to check if the work has been done is to inspect the car afterwards. A new ball joint should stand out because it will be spotlessly clean. If you turn the steering fully to the right the ball joints may be visible or they may be obscured by the wheels. It is much easier to see them when the car is on a ramp. If you have not had the work done yet you could ask another garage or tyre fitter to check the ball joint for you. It is advisable to have your tracking checked after changing a ball joint. Some tyre companies will check the tracking for free and charge only if they have to adjust the tracking. Hope this helps.
