Windows 7 seems to have a cow with bluetooth drivers. You should check with Acer support to see if they have a updated driver out yet. I went through the exact same problems on my hp and toshiba laptops. It too them a bit but eventually they had a updated driver with instructions on my laptop support page. If you go to and click on support you should be able to send a email or chat live with a tech or search the downloads for a new driver.

I can't get sound from nc4010 notebook with winVista and win7. sound card working with xp

this sounds like a driver issue, and the solution depends on whether the manufacturer of your laptop has a driver for vista or win7 for the sound controller on your machine or not.

according to hp's website for your device there's no driver for vista and win7, this means that your system is not ready for vista or 7.

unfortanetely it doesn't seem there's any avaliable. the reason is simple, your machine was not meant to have vista or 7, I would suggest for you to stick to xp on that machine. unfortanetelly machines that are not meant to have fast processors and/or high memory capacities (over 1g) are not meant to work with memory hogs os like vista or win7.

sorry I couldnt get the answer expected. post back if you do find an alternatve

Bluetooth device not working after windows got reinstalled

What is the old OS and the new OS of your computer? If you upgraded your system, there's a possibility that your Blyetooth device was not supported by your new OS.

Or, you might need to download a new driver that would support your new OS.

Byt if you are running the same OS, try to download the driver from the Internet and reinstall the Bluetooth driver.

Have a great day!

I have a hp pavilion dv9000. it had an bluetooth icon.. but now it seems to be disabled . how do i enable the bluetooth again.. everytime i try shows an error... help lpz

If enabling blue tooth from the keyboard does not work anymore, then you usually need to reinstall Bluetooth drivers again.

to download drivers click on the link below, select the model, select the operative system version, then select Network Driver and reinstall bluetooth drivers from there.

HP Pavilion dv9000 Entertainment Notebook PC series - Download

If this does not solve the problem, then the bluetooth module ( a mini PCI card) may be defective. In that case an opriton could be installing an external bluetooth: TRENDnet TBW-105UB Network adapter - USB
