Question about Sony PSP (Piano Black)

I save games on my psp.in computer you can see the games being installed and when you open the games on psp it has a message saying there are no games.what's wrong with my psp?

Because you have an OFW official firmware only... the games your are trying to put in your psp are ISO/ CSO and can only be played with those who have CFW Custom firware
btw what model of you psp?

STEP1= You have to download PSPdispv.02 on your computer and then in your PSPE1004.
STEP2= Connect USB cable to computer and to the PSP E1004.
STEP3= Open the PSPdisp.v02 on your PSPE1004.

Sorry i have posted my 1st comment wrong. hi, I have recently bought my Sony PSP 2000 (piano black). It do not play the copy game CD's of UMD. When I bought that copy CD and put in my PSP it gives...


Here try this method.
  1. Open your Psp and Press Select to show the menu.
  2. Now Change the USB Device from Memory Stick change it to UMD Disc.
  3. And Exit the menu.
  4. Make Sure that you UMD GAME in inserted in the drive.
  5. Now insert your usb cable into your computer.
  6. On your PSP , GO to settings and USB CONNECTION
  7. Now on your computer go to MY COMPUTER and Double Click your PSP DRIVE.
  8. Now on your PSP Folder, Copy the game ISO and paste it in your Desktop
  9. Now Download and Install this software DOWNLOAD LINK
  10. Once install, Run this software.
  11. Choose compress ISO to CSO.
  12. on INPUT FILE, Browse for the game ISO, ( We save it in desktop )
  13. on OUTPUT FILE, Select the destination where you want to save the COMPRESSED FILE.
  14. Now choose your compression level ( I Suggest you choose 9 - Best Compression )
  15. Click Compress and wait for the process to finish.
  16. Now lets go back to your PSP, Press Select Again to show the menu.
  17. Now Change the USB DEVICE back to MEMORY STICK
  18. Go to your Settings and USB CONNECTION.
  19. Now on your computer, Open Your PSP Drive.
  20. Go to ISO Folder, (DO NOT CLOSE)
  21. Go to the Folder where you save the compressed file.
  22. Copy the compressed file and paste it in your ISO Folder.
  23. Now go to your PSP and Play the game.
  24. Enjoy.

How to download a games and install to psp??


to download a game for the psp
- search for game using bittorrent or any downloading software
- download the game
- save the game on the computer or on a harddrive

to install the game on the psp
- connect the psp to a computer via USB or insert the memory stick on a card reader
- copy the game file from the harddrive to the psp memory card or memory stick pro
- disconnect the psp and try to play the game

note: make sure that the psp is upto date with the firmware because not all games will work right away

if its a PSP GO you just need to go online via WiFi on your PSP GO
- go the sony or psp store then purchase the game download it and save it

Good News & Bad News for this topic.

Bad News: There are no cheat codes for this game

Good News: There are some save files available that have TONS OF MONEY to spend.

To acquire the saved game data you must do the following

1. Go to the gamefaqs.com saved psp games portal
2. Download a save with a LOT of money
3. Connect your PSP to your computer
4. Copy save files to the game save folder on your PSP (message me if you need help finding it)
5. Turn on game and VOILA!

I put game saves on my psp but my game cant read it!!!!

Here is the step by step instruction to put save games on your psp,


1-Connect your PSP to the computer using a USB cable.
2-Get the gamesave from a gaming web site.
3-Unzip the folder and make sure it is the one you want.
4-Get the folder that has the main game save in it.
5-Copy the game save folder.
6-Open PSP-savedata and make sure you don't have that save data but with your save.
7-Paste it and if you have a current save in it, press replace only if you want to really get rid of it or save it to your computer.
8-Check the PSP savedata on the PSP menu screen to see if it is corrupted.
9-Put the game in that you got the save data from and see if it works.

How do i download music from my computer to my psp


look if you dont want to lose your saved data connect it to the computer open up your connected psp go to the psp folder look for the save data folder open it and you should see folders called ULUS something now click on the view tab and switch it to thumbnails and you should see the picture of your game..in the folder.. just drag and drop to your desktop..or copy??? if your starting a new game you can drag that ulus folder and put it in saved folder load game and your save data will be there!! Psp internet downloading


I just fixed mine, it works fine now. Steps:

1) copy all the data from the psp to the PC
2) reset the psp
3) format the memory stick
4) now copy the data in to the correct folders

Those are the exactly came steps that I did and mine works fine now.
