Question about White Sewing White 3032

Piece of ****

Every time I thread a bobbin and put it back in, it won't sew right and the bobbin thread bunches up and the needle sometimes breaks. This has never happened to me with any other machine. It won't pick up the bobbin thread properly

I'm having trouble properly threading my Elna 1010. Could you please help? The bobbin thread keeps bunching up and breaking

bunching of thread under the material is an indication of insufficient tension of the needle thread
increase the needle tension until the threads meet at the center of the materialbeing sewn

The thread keeps breaking .

You may have the tension set too tight or are not using the correct needle. Or, the bobbin thread may not be the same as the top thread. If the tensions are o.k., try using a ballpoint needle.

I have a Bernina Activa 130. I tried to sew over some leather, started fine, then the needle got stuck and I stopped right away. Now, the bottom threads keeps bunching. I have re-threaded the machine, new...

You need a fatter needle. The skinny needle will not open the leather enough for a smooth flow of thread and that's why the bobbin is bunching up when the top thread is sticking. Make it easier on your machine by using an appropriate size needle while sewing leather.

My thread keeps breaking and the bobbin tension is too loose

adjust the top thread tension one number or letter higher at a time
and sew on a scrap piece of fabric till the stitches look normal

The needle thread breaks
1. the needle thread is not threaded properly
2. The needle thread tension is to tight
3. The needle is bent or blunt
4. The needle is incorrectly inserted
5. The needle thread & the bobbin thread are not set under the presser foot when starting to sew
6. the threads were not drawn to the rear after sewing
7. The thread is either to heavy or to fine for the needle

Bobbin won't spin to allow needle to catch thread

sometimes when you break a needle it can cause the machine to
jump time, the machine would have to be taken to a sewing machine
shop to be checked by the technican

MY TOP THREAD KEPT BREAKING AND NOW IT WONT PICK UP MY BOBBIN THREAD. I REPLACED THE BOBBIN AND PUT IN A NEW NEEDLE AND IT STILL WONT WORK.

try rethreading the top thread
and check the tension try 3-5
sometimes the needle & thread are not compatable-try this & see if it helps
Cut 6-8 inch piece of thread of the spool you are going to use for your project
Take the needle you are going to use for the project
& insert the thread thru the eye of the needle
& lift one end of the thread to a 45 degree angle
& if the needle is the right size for the thread it will slide down the thread
But if the needle hangs on the thread you need one size larger needle for the thread

Iam new to sewing. Ive never had a Bernia 930 machine. Iam having problems creating stitches. The top thread is threaded correctly and the bobbin is in correctly. Iam able to bring bottom thread up but...

have you try changing the needle
sometimes the needle & thread are not compatable--here's how to check

Cut 6-8 inch piece of thread of the spool you are going to use for your project
Take the needle you are going to use for the project
& insert the thread thru the eye of the needle
& lift one end of the thread to a 45 degree angle
& if the needle is the right size for the thread it will slide down the thread
But if the needle hangs on the thread you need one size larger needle for the thread

Make sure the bobbin has a 3-5 inch thread tail
Then make sure the top thread has a 3-5 inch tail
& make sure the threads are always pulled to the back behind the needle area
happy sewing

Thread problems

Try unthreading the top of the machine and with the presser foot up (the one you put the fabric under) Use a piece of regular size yarn about 1 foot long and go around your top tension like you would with your thread and floss it back and forth then pulling the yarn in your left hand up so that the other one is short but not out, drop the foot down and pull the short end until the yarn comes right out. Re thread the machine with your thread again with the foot up and try it on a scrap piece of fabric first. Sometimes you need to do it a few times.

How do i put the bobbin case back in correctly?

The zigzag setting should not have caused it to jam up unless the tensions were off and the thread was bunching up on the bottomside of the needle plate. If you ever jam or break a needle be sure to replace it with a fresh new needle. A slightly bent needle will cause all kinds of problems.
When putting the bobbin back in make sure you keep a good amount of thread hanging out and manually turn the hand wheel around until the needle make a full rotation. The hook should catch the needle thread and allow you to pull the bobbin thread out through the needle plate.
If you jammed it really good it is possible that the needle and hook timing is out of sync in which case you may need to have it re-timed.
