Question about Compaq Presario X1000 Notebook
I have and old windows 98 version Compaq laptop that does not have usb ports. Is there something that I can get to upgrade it for a dongal key (usb) and printer?
Depending on if it has type I or type II PCMCIA slots, you can get a PCMCIA cardbus USB adapter.
They are relatively cheap on Ebay - about 7 bucks.
Just make sure you get one that is the correct card type, and comes with Win98 drivers.
