Question about Cameras

1 Answer

The switch on the back of the camera will not allow me to change between picture mode and viewing mode. The slide is free moving, does not let me choose which option I want. Can I take this slider off and manually pick the option I need? Or is this a send away and let someone else fix job?

The plastic switch has ether broken or the tab has it could be a easy fix by just removing the case and realigning the case but if your not comfortable removing the case then yeah it would have to go to a service center. I had a camera come in like that and I had to replace the tab only luckily i had one in stock. lol if it is just the tab you might be looking at 25 to 30 if it is the switch it will be more depending on the model its main board might have to be replaced. Hope this helps.

My olympus e volt 500 will not display image when in shoot mode

There is a little button on the back, marked 'info'. Press it to switch from picture view to settings view. It also operates the viewfinder.

Olympus also has a good photo editing program that is free and it allows you to edit photos and stitch pictures taken pn panoramic mode into one panoramic picture. It's called Olympus Master.

How do i view my pictures from my camera that i have already taken

There should be a setting right on the back of it that allows you to change from Camera mode to Viewing mode. It typically will look like a small screen with a Play button (arrow) on it.

Good luck!

When I hit the flash button to get flash Macro mode pops up on the screen..What does this mean? How do I get it off?

Macro mode is for taking pictures of things very close to the camera.

There is probably a slide switch on the left end of the camera as viewed from the back. Slide it away from the flower and toward the mountain to get it off macro mode. If the switch isn't there, please reply to this post telling us what model Vivitar camera you have.

Why does my camera" vivitar

Whatever operation you're trying to do or mode you're trying to set is not allowed in macro mode. To switch the camera out of macro mode, slide the switch on the left side of the camera (as viewed from the back) away from the flower icon and toward the mountain icon.

I TURN ON MY A70 AND I GET A VIEW OF THE LAST PICTURE I TO TOOK.

The camera is stuck in picture review mode. Try sliding the mode switch back and forth a couple times, and leave it in camera mode to see if this corrects the problem.

the fix should be in the set-up menu. Look through for "post-view", which should control whether the image stays on the LCD after you shoot, and for how long.

I had the same problem, it is the switch inside that is broken which allows you to switch back and forth between viewing pictures and taking them. There isn't really a fix besides getting the switch replaced and I am having a very hard time trying to find parts for mine. Good luck.

The dial on the back

This dial is the Mode Dial. It allows you to switch between shooting modes (still pictures and movies) and playback modes (allows viewing of still pictures and movies within and out of an album).
