Question about Technics SL-1200MK2 Turntable
Basically you dont.
You will need to replace the power knob which comes complete with the brass rod that goes through the strobe housing. To do this you will need to remove the base of the deck - be carefull not to lose the spring and ballbearing.

This is a common problem. You can either order a new part complete, knob and shaft, or if you have the knob, dismantle the unit and pull out the shaft and clip, ball bearing and spring. Be carefulmnot to loose the spring and ball. You can super glue the knob on and replaced it all.
