Question about HP Pavilion dv6000t Notebook
Hi! i have a hp pavilion dv6000, i got it last 2008 ..anyway here`s the problem while i was searching the net it suddenly turned off so i turned it on again but then after few seconds it turned off again soI took it over to the power supply and plugged it in, i hit the power button and all the lights flashed for a second like it was going to turn on, then they go back out..
I tried a couple times and had the same results. I stuck my ear up to while hitting the power button and i heard a single quiet beep..
I tried unplugging all power including battery and holding the power button down for 30 seconds and it still didnt work...
Its getting power but wont turn on..it just flashes and beeps, then turns off.. any help or suggestion please? thank you in advance.. godbless..
I had a similar problem with my pavilion. They have a cooling fan design that allows for lint buildup and subsequent overheating. You could try using a compressed air and blowing out the exhaust vent area for the fans.
