I have not used my scanner for a long time and now I have forgotten what the plugs look like to hook it up. Can you please show me a picture or something to remember what they look like?

Ran across your request for information about the cables needed for hooking up the Umax Astra 1220U scanner. The scanner require a standard older version USB cable that hooks the scanner to your PC. The second cable is the Power Supply Adapter cable. The information listed on the Power Supply Adapter is listed below. P/N 490081-03 Input 120 Volt @ 60 Hz 0.3 amps Output DC 12 Volts @ 1 Amp Model # RWP481212 You should be able to get the scanner to work as long as you can find any power supply that has the listed Input/Output ratings, an adapter that will plug into the scanner. Hope this help you. disaksen
Actually you should have two plug-ins, One USB that you plug in the scanner and the other end in your computer. The other plug is an adapter which plugs in the wall and in the scanner. I also have a Umax 1220U but I have lost my adapter! But to buy a new adapter I would need to know the specs, If you look on the adapter you should see these specs; it will start with the input which should say 115/120 volts if you live in North america. What I need to know is the output specs So if you could give me these specs it would be greatly appreciated :-)
