Question about Cameras
Ok, so I help escort the Navy Ships today for Fleet Week 2010 and took a lot of photos on my vivitar freelance v15 and the camera shut off and I lost all my photos of the Ships and Sights, is there any software that vivitar has, to recover my photographs?, please somebody help.
No such Vivitar software, but those deleted photos can ONLY be recovered provided they are not fully overwritten. The data is still there on the memory card or stick of your camera as long as you haven't taken any more photos since then.
They can be recovered using photo recovery software, there are lots of them available with different benefits and features. I recommend you have a try of Wondershare Photo Recovery, a software which can also recover lost video and music files. Get the program from the links below.
Photo Recovery Download (if you are running Windows OS)
Mac Photo Recovery Download (for Apple Mac OS X)
Download and install the trial version on your computer, then connect your camera memory card ans start to recover.
1. Take the free trial version first.
2. Before your deleted items are recovered, do not save more files to the card.
I hope you good luck, Happy the Holiday!

Don't panic! In my personal experiences,
your pictures are still stored on this digital camera memory card as long as
you've not written anything new on it.
In fact, after the deleting process, the deleted pictures are not actually erased as we normally think. It is only the space used to save them that has been marked as "free space". They are still there. That's why you do have chances to get them all back.
So, you should act carefully to get them back as below:
Step1. Stop using this camera memory card in case that any new file would rewrite your original data.
Step2. Insert this camera memory card to your computer and prepare to restore your data.
Step3. Download a camera memory card data recovery freeware to your computer and start to retrieve all your deleted contents back.
In fact, this freeware has ever successfully saved all the inaccessible data of my friend off from his Samsung phone. So, I also believe it can also work successfully on your memory card, too.
Simply read more information of this freeware here:
Step4. Save and back up all the restored photos on a different memory card or drive in case of data recovery failure.
