I have a 10000 but shinco portable air conditioner model ypl310c1. The fl light comes on and it shuts off cause its full but its doing it on average of every 3 hours. I have drained 2 1/2 gallons of water...

That means that it is doing an awesome job. Nothing is wrong with it, that's 2 1/2 gallons of humidity that you dumped outside. Hopefully far away from the house ;). Air conditioners make water, that's what they are supposed to do. Read the manual and install the permanent drain.

93 Mack dump truck head lights want turn on first thing I morning after you drive from a while they come on what's wrong

Hi Susan:
Chances are that there may be dirt or corrosion on the fuses.
I would try a quiet afternoon of pleasant cleaning. Remove the fuses, one at a time. Use a small wire brush to clean the fuse holder, and a piece of 400 grit emery paper to clean the ends of the fuse. Blow out the dust, replace, and on to the next one.
I have a 1980's Mack in the equipment inventory and love it.
Keep that old Iron running!
Cheers.

Check the ignition for power. Remove the ignition switch and make sure power is reaching it. It works like any other switch, but uses a key.

The numbers reading on the ac unit seem to be in Celsius. We usually set the air conditioner at 72, but for some reason the numbers only go up to 24 now. How do we change it back?

If your machine is reading C-- then 24 C = 75.2 deg. F
FYI: 22 deg C = 71.6 Deg. F-- slightly under 72 degrees-- Try that.

I hope this helps-

It fire's up run's for 30 second's act's like it will die spit's out bunch of smoke start's it all over again!

You have an air conditioner that is spitting smoke?-- That sounds pretty dangerous!-- and likely FINAL!

I wonder if you are talking about something other than an Air Conditioner?

Your Problem is listed under Air Conditioners--

Maybe you can give us more clues, and more exactly what make and model we are talking about-- Maybe we can be more helpful then?

I installed a new colman mack thermostat in my camper witch has a colman ac unit now ac unit runs 5 min then shuts off for 3 min then starts again and keeps doing this . so I by past thermostat and it will...

if it is a programmable thermostat you can unhook thermostat and when it comes on select 3 instead of 1. As it sounds as though it is short cycling this happens in older houses with drafts. Hope this helps Tim

Air conditioner shuts down constantly, need to

Sorry but you are just going to have to keep emptying it. These types or air conditioners are also use as de-humidifiers and unless you can place it somewhere where you can connect a drain hose it is going to require many trips to dump the holding tank of the condensation.
