Just after machine dies set park brake, remove fuel cap, cycle key on/off and see if you can hear the fuel pump in tank. You may need to be very close to tank in order to notice it.If no sound from tank replace pump. The X400 series are known for their fuel pumps crapping out.

Here is the description for the code. The vent system would need to be checked out to find the actual problem. It should have been fixed under factory warranty.
The P0446 codes triggered when an improper voltage signal is sent to Engine Control Module (ECM) through EVAP canister vent control valve.

There is a vent in the tank, it is situated on the right hand side of the tank, close to where the fuel hose exits the tank, the early vent looks like a round white pellet, the later vent is a white plug with a nipple on the top, the later vent will just pull out with long nose pliers, the early vent has to be extracted useing a self tapping screw, this of course will destroy the vent.

My Yumbo Dakar 200cc bike dies after riding in 5th gear reving medium-highish for a couple of minutes, it usually just dies after i hit the clutch (coasting), but on long runs @ around 50-60mph in 5th gear...

G'day,
I have a couple of ideas what may help.
First I would think it was starving for fuel.Or maybe an unusual ignition system fault- So how do we find out?
Well-you could try checking the bike for spark immediately after the bike stops.
Remove the spark plug-Re-fit to the cap-place plug resting on metal where you can see it(DO NOT HOLD PLUG-HIGH VOLTAGE)-kick over & check for spark. If theres no spark-try a new plug but if the problem persists then the bike has a faulty ignition(coil,cap,plug,stator.ignition/kill switch, wireing)
I think it is more likely starving for fuel.
A faulty fuel tank filler cap vent or carby vent tube pinched or blocked.
To check the filler cap-ride the bike & when the problem just starts-quickly crack open the fuel tank filler cap to let air in/out. If bike runs ok then the cap is blocked.
To check the carby vents -just look at them & make sure none are blocked or pinched. They usually come from each side of the carby & one from the bottom(usually clear or semi-clear hoses).
I hope that this helps you with your problem.

My lawntractor run for about an houer then is dies

Check the vent in the fuel cap. If this is blocked, then the engine will run until a vacuum forms in the tank and flow stops. This will be worse when the tank is full (less air!).

To test, remove cap, fill tank (tie a rag or something over the filler to keep the crud out), and go mow the lawn. If it doesn't die, get a new cap.

Be careful about fuel splashes if you use the machine with no fual cap!

2001 yamaha breeze wont stay running

i had the same issue. it's gonna be a blockage in one of the vent tubes to the carb. check the line to the left of the carb that runs next to the gas tank. if thats fine then check the gas cap line. then if thats all good then check the line that runs below the carb. these are all vent tubes and allow the carb. to refill with fuel

Hello. I'm sure that you've checked your air filter, so check the pinhole vent on the fuel filler cap. Next time it dies, immediately crack the cap and listen for the sucking sound of air rushing into the tank. If you hear this, clean the cap!
