Dell inspiron n5030....touchpad not working..not showing in device man..have d/l drivers, incl synaptics.mouse device settings box emtpy.enable/disable greyed out.

Are you certain that the touchpad wasn't disabled accidentally from the Fn key? There are secondary features assigned to each of the Function (F1-F12) keys, usually in BLUE. On of them is to disable/enable the touchpad (toggle-type function, do it one time to disable, the next to enable). You press and hold the "Fn" key (next to the Windows key at bottom let of keyboard, then press the associated Function Key.

Flash player won't work

Chances are you have two versions of Internet Explorer, a 32 bit and a 64 bit. , and you have a 64 bit version of Win7. In your start menu you may see two versions of Internet Explorer. One may have "64 bit" next to it. Open the other version of IE (which will be the 32 bit) and try installing the flash player with that one.

If that doesn't work try completely un-installing flash player and re-install it.

Pls help me i need display driver of dell inspiron 1564 32 bit....thanks

Yucalz,
The Dell site says that your Dell Inspiron 1564 is a Win 7 64 bit machine. Why should you want to install 32 bit drivers, beats me. Any way please visit the site
http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs
and after selecting the model, you can download the drivers (any). Please do that.
