OK, Here is the deal.I have a 55" screen tv .When i turn it on the power button will blink but will not come on or off.For aboute a week it would not work. And now i just turned it on and it is working fine.Should i still have it sent off and fixed?Or can you tell me what you think it is? And how to fix it? THANK YOU.

I'm having the same problem with my RCA D52W26. I plug it in, I press power and the green power light on the front of the TV just blinks for 9 times rapidly, pauses for a second, and repeats.
This happened to me in November 2007 and didn't work again until February 2008. It worked fine for two months and has again started acting this way as of April 21, 2008.
If you have any information on how to fix this, please email me at pizzaprince243@aol.com. I really don't want to have to deal with a vendor or RCA/Thompson.

having same prob! bought tv with prob (would't come on)...checked back for fuse out? everything was fine then magicly it started working???? maybe on/off switch???
