The element is almost certainly burnt out .A replacement element is fare cheaper than a new cooker and relatively easy to fit

First need to see if supply voltage is correct.
Verify oven probe sensor to the thermostat Is working properly? (usually done by Ohm test)
Thermostast offer an option for calibration?
Also have you verified actual oven temperature with an external thermometer?

AEG Oven Heats But Buzzes

lots of them do it. (Including ours unfortunately) in our case this is down to vibration in the casing the fan is screwed to and can be stopped temporarily by pressing something strongly against the top black casing just inside the grill door with the two ventilation slots in it. I wouldn't recommend doing this every time you need to cook obviously. Ours has done it for years it doesn't get any worse. it's not dangerous ( in my unqualified opinion ) and it doesn't affect cooking performance.

Smeg oven stopped working

This tutorial will show you how to check your Smeg element and how to replace your Smeg cooker element.
Here are the 3 main faults to look for in your oven or cooker that is not heating
  1. Your oven will not work until the clock/timer has been re-set after replacing an oven element or tripping the electrical supply. Consult your Smeg manual.
  2. If your Oven is not getting hot or heating up it could be a faulty element, if the fan in the oven is running and the thermostat light is on, this will lead us to believe that the element has gone faulty. With grills the thermostat light should come on there should be heat, if not then this could be the grill element or the thermostat.
  3. When you turn the oven on, the household electrical supply trips on the Rcd (this is the earth trip in the fuse board sometimes called the breaker tripping) your fan oven element has gone to earth and needs replacing.

Fan oven stopped heating

Hello,
Is the fan working in the oven if not then check if the clock needs resetting. If the fan is working then it is more likely that the ring element around the fan has failed.Check also if the thermostat light comes on,this is an indication it may be ok.

Hope this helps.

this video should help

For all Free Bosch appliance repair videos visit our VIDEOTUTORIALS
A fan oven that has stopped heating up is probably the most common oven fault that professional engineer is called to. The cause in most cases is simply a faulty fan oven element. To employ the services of a repair company is going to cost you in the region of £60 - £100 to complete the job.
With a little time, though and our FREE fan oven element video it should take less than half an hour to repair, and the element can be purchased from us for as little as £20 ! Why not Save yourself some money and read on
1, If the Bosch fan motor in the back of the oven is going round and the temperature light is on (normally little red light), but there is no heat then you will probably need a new oven element, these are generally very easy to fit and readily available from our website these can be tested with a electric meter.

To gain access to the Bosch element you will have to remove the back plate from inside the oven. Once removed you will see the Bosch fan and element, if you look closely at the Bosch element you will probably see a small hole burnt in it where it has blown. Sometimes however there is no evidence of a fault but the element is open circuit ie: broken inside the element casing, either way it will need replacing. Some elements will are fixed from inside the oven and some are held in place by nuts from the rear of the machine.
2, If your Bosch fan oven is getting warm but takes a very long time to cook or is burning the food more on one side than the other, then you need to check if your oven fan motor is working you will see the blade turning fast if it is ok. if the element is heating but the fan motor is not blowing the heat into the oven then you need To replace the oven fan motor is a little more expensive and a bit more involved.

3. If you have the opposite problem ie: your oven is over heating and burning everything then you will need to replace your Bosch oven thermostat
4, A quite common and easily overlooked answer is if your oven is not working at all ie: no heat and no fan then the chances are that someone has put the oven timer into AUTO mode, simply put oven back to MANUAL mode and all should be working again.

Tricity bendix se211 electric cooker trips all my electrics

The symptoms you describe are a classic example of an oven element heating up, and as it gets hotter, the insulation is breaking down, thereby causing the earth leakage trip to operate.
To confirm this , switch on the oven, and turn all 4 rings on the top to full heat, 2 at a time, let them stay on for at least 10-15 mins, and if it does not trip, then you can be pretty sure it is the oven element(s) that is the problem

It is not likely to be the wall switch, as if it were faulty, i would expect the trip to go right away.
If you want to check further, then turn on the oven again and see if it trips, if it does ,then it is definately the oven element(s) that is the problem.

If it is a fan assisted oven , the element is at the rear of the oven, and possibly one under the base ot the oven. If it is a conventional convection oven, then there is an element at each side of the oven, even if one is faulty, replace both.

Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
