Question about Frigidaire Heating & Cooling

I have a 18,000 BTU Frigidaire wall split air leaks water inside

I have an 18,000 BTU Frigidaire wall split air conditioner installed in a 15 x 18 feet concrete envelope room. We use it only on the nights, as soon the room door is opened starts to pour water. And wets all items below. The angle is to flow to the outlet. The humidity here ranges from 65 to 85D F at San Juan PR. I control the temperature on 23 degrees to reduce this. If the door or windows are closed ,works well all night!

Check the condense evacuation ...if have to have such a thing ...look in the manual if you have one..cause if it do not you will need to install a tube and guide it to a collector or ..outside directly ..this is the only issue that may cause the leaking is cause from the humidity in the air in contact with the cooling devices inside... so ...you will have to install a guided tube to collect it and either use a plastic pet ..to collect it ..or direct it outside..It actually should have such a thing ...it may be not connected or ..not installed or too short ...or just stuck on something ..or damaged..

    Thank You for the Hint.

The unit works and drain well outside, it fills half a bucket during the night

I also believe the unit is too big for the room. Before I had a window 12 k unit installed and handled very good..

there is no other water source to get the leak from ..and the only thing n this case is the drainage line ...either has a leak or ...something is causing another kind of condense ..and leak along the units walls..

in what regards the unit being too big for the room ..this is not a issue but a good thing cause it will work well without efforts and efficient ..

Can a Fujitsu compressor unit be connected to multiple inside evaporator units that have different tonnage ratings. 18,000 BTU compressor and 9,000 & 12,000 BTU evaporator units inside.

call fujitsu engineering division direct and ask them about what is connected and if it works ok
logically as each evaporator has it's own tx valve as long as the compressor is large enough to run all together it should work but get the right information from the fujitsu experts

Leaking water from the inside unit

When the air gets cooled it also gets dehumidified, on the inside unit there should be a condensate drain. Check the drain to see if its clogged, also check to see there is a drain, I have seen units installed by "pros" who have forgot to intall it

BTU is leaking water from the inside.

Take the cover off the inside unit and look for the drip pan under the evaporator coil. It should have either one drain in the middle of the pan or a series of smaller drains along the back of the pan. The drain(s) is probably clogged up and causing the pan to overflow into your home. Also check the drain line on the outside wall where the refrigerant lines come through the wall for a blockage.
