I can't get washer to start. I believe the top

I can't get washer to start. We moved it in open trailer and I believe the top left door hinge switch was damaged in transit. It seems bent. I tried to straiten it out but i'm not sure just what it should look like in it's correct position. The lights flashed on momentarily when plugged in. but I get no response when I try to start it.

Washing machines have a safety switch on the lid. If the lid isn't shut, if won't run. You may have upset the safety switch. Depending on the machine, it should either have a micro switch that is tripped by the lid or the lid will have a tab that hits a switch as the lid closes... be sure to listen for a positive click ... you may try bending the hinge a bit to make proper contact too.

I have a kenmore upright freezer model 970-254326 bought in 2011 from sears. The door opens left to right but in my tiny apartment I NEED it to open from right to left just to put things in and get th

You should see some plastic plugs or holes for mounting bolts on the opposite side of the freezer case. The latch mechanism should adapt from one side to another.
You would remove the top hinge and then lift the door off of the bottom hinge. Then you would remove the bottom hinge and switch it to the other side. Place the door onto the bottom hinge and then install the top hinge on the other corner of the case to match.
You should be able to move the handle from one side to the other. The magnets in the doorseal should work as before to keep the door closed. The interior light is usually centered on the bottom to aid in reversing the door opening.

Whirlpool top load washer won't wash after filling

The hinge on the left side activates the lid switch. The hinge will have to be repaired or replaced.

Use a putty knife or a old CD to slide under the control panel on the right and left sides, where the control panel front meets the washer top.
This will release the clips that hold the control panel to the top cabinet.
Fold the cabinet to the rear.

Unplug the lid switch in the top of the cabinet on the left side.

Remove the brass clips holding the cabinet to the rear panel.
The cabinet will come off so that you can access the underside for the hinge and lid switch.

I want to change the door hinge of a 2.5 cu ft Chefmate refrkgerator from hinged right to hinged left but can't find manuals that might show how. Any one have information on this or know where I can find...

If the doors can be reversed there should be mounting holes at the top and bottom of the doors opposite where the hinges are now. (They may be closed with plastic plugs that can be pried out.) Check also how the existing handles are mounted. There should be holes that correspond to having the handles on the opposite side. (Sometimes they are disguised by a manufacturer's nameplate over them.) If there are such holes then start at the top hinge of the door. Pry the (plastic) cover off if there is one. Remove the bolts/screws and remove the hinge support. There is a post on it that fits into the hole at the top of the door. Remove the door by lifting it up off the bottom hinge post. Keep track of any washers, etc. that may be there. Unscrew the bottom hinge support. Remove (and save) any plastic plugs and install the hinge supports and doors in reverse order (bottom to top) on the other side. If there are separate door stops on the bottoms of the doors near the hinges that keep the doors from swinging all the way open, make sure you move them also to the other side. Relocate the handles. Put the plastic plugs, nameplate, etc. in the old holes.

How do i change which side the door opens

I have a different Bosch but changing the door over is straightforward.
1. Remove the plastic cover above the top door which fits over the controls. There are 2 screws under it holding it on. Lever it up from the back on top and it pops off.
2. Remove the hinge for the top door held on by 2 bolts
3. Take the top door off
4. Remove the central hinge between the doors held on by 2 screws
4. Lift the bottom door off
5. Pull off the bottm plastic cover
6. Move the post in the bottom hinge to the other side. It screws out
7 Replace the bottom door
8 Replace the central hinge on the other side (Take off any plastic caps covering the holes)
9. Unscrew the post on the top hinge (there are 2 possible holes left and right) and put it in the other hole.
10. Put the top door on
11. Bolt the top hinge back on the other side
12 Replace top cover and screws.
13 Move handles (unscrew and pull towards the door edge to get them off)

Washer door opens with hinges on the left

Don't you think it would really boost sales if you did make a washer that the front loader door could open left to right . For homes that have very limited laundry room. and no way to switch.

Washer door opens with hinges on the left

nope sorry but all front load washers are built with a locking system on the door and that makes them impossible to change the door swing.
the only thing you can do is move the washer and dryer position by getting longer hoses and venting so you can have the washer on the left and the dryer on the right.

Door Pops Open

check the alignment of the doors. their is an adjustment on the top hinge. also the hinges have washers on them that you can adjust the door up and down by moving washers to the hinge under or over the door.
if you already checked this and think it is a different problem then let me know, i will help you figure it out.

Freezer door rubbing

take the freezer door off and put a washer or two on the bottom hinge. sometimes there are extra plastic washers on the top hinge that you can move to the bottom to lift it up.
also check if the hinge is bent or loose, as this may cause the problem.

I am assuming there is no noise coming from the machine, if not check the lid switch. open the lid and look for a small slot in the top of the washer. With the washer set to run, press down on the slot with a screwdriver or something (make sure everything is clear from the tub) see if there is a clicking sound when you push down. If the machine starts you need a depressor piece on the door. if there is no clicking sound you may need something else. lets start with the simplest, like the door switch and go from there.
