Check the cable connecting your monitor and video card, see if this is secure and not loose.

My dell pc model dcslf will not power on green light on back is on and orange light inside is on

you could try opening the case after unplugging the power from the wall, then disconnect power supply from the Motherboard. then hold the pc power button in until the green back light and orange light go out. then reconnect power supply to motherboard. Plug the power back in to the wall and see if the pc turns on. Hope this helps

Orange light on and it wont turn on

I found this online. Many people have said this worked for them but you need to make sure you follow the instructions carefully.

Step By Step:
(Disconnect all cables, Inc the power)
1. Open the case of your Dell Pc
2. On the power supply box (top right) find the GREEN wire
(The green wire will almost always be the power switch on all Pc's)
3. Cut it at around the middle
4. Strip Both Ends
5.Find a long enough piece of wire that will reach to the front of the pc
6. Solder the GREEN wires back together but putting your seperate peice of wire inbetween them
7. Tidy them up with zip ties and shrink tubing (Electrical Tape if not)
8. Plug the power cable into the pc
9. Hold the wire onto the chassis of the pc
10. If the fans start at full speed, press the power button and let the wire off
11. your pc should be running as normal.

My vaio wont turn on and the green light in the back keeps blinki

The green light blinking in the back indicates that the power supply went bad and is not turning on, go ahead and get the power supply replaced. Normally that light is supposed to be fully lit and green.

MB green light on but won't start

your power supply must be exact and both power connections to the motherboard must be connected. the green light will come on if voltage is supplied but will turn on a low voltage alarm which is a buzzing sound. or it just wont do anything

Computer wont start up. Blinking green light in the back of tower

I've had that happen twice to my Vaio desktop and there was a very easy fix. I'm not a techie, but I found a recommended solution online when this first happened six months ago. I couldn't find the solution again, but I fortunately remembered the steps.

Remove the side pane to access your motherboard cables, etc. Locate the connector on your motherboard that contains the wires going from your power supply to your motherboard. It will be a large, rectangular connector with a lot of individual wires It is not a ribbon cable but should be located next to a ribbon cable connector andnext to a geen blnking light on your motherboard (when the power supply is plugged into the wall). Note: This green blinking light is in addition to the green blinking light on the back of the PC.

This next step is important: You have to disconnect the connector noted above from the motherboard WHILE the power suply is plugged into the wall. Wait a few seconds and plug it back in. The blinking reen light on the motherboard should now be a solid green light. The PC should now power up.

It worked twice for me; I hope it works for you.
