2009 Grand Caravan the parking brake light stays on after the parking brake is disengaged?

sounds like the parking brake arm is not returning to the fully off position. try pull the release handle and at the same time pull up on the lever. if the light goes out then its not fully returning. it could be out of adjustment or the brake cables or sticking and need to be freed up.

Clutch lever sticking upon release

Could be a clutch adjustment problem, or a wobbling pressure plate.

BUT, without YOU providing a YEAR/MAKE/MODEL, the best anyone could give is just a blind guess!

Front brake pads release for a suzuki 800 volusia

No adjustment...if pads are not releasing correctly it's down to one of 3 things.
Caliper sticking...clean and lubricate sliders and pistons
Seal hardening...the seal distorts slightly as the piston comes out and when you release pressure it returns pulling the piston back slightly...replace seal
Blocked return vent in the master cyl not allowing the pressure to back off...usually gives an overly hard lever feel though...clean out the small holes in the base of the master cyl

InBaracuda got stuck in stair - on releasing it I found a black spot on wall and the suction rubber was soft and sticky.

You cleaner was probably overheating from being stuck on the stairs. To ensure that the pool cleaner does not get stuck on stairs, there are a few things that you can do. Utilize return flow by making sure that your return inlets are pointing downward and toward the center of the pool during cleaning. Confirm that you have proper hose length. Adjust the flow to your cleaner or adjust hose weight. Finally, you can install a wheel deflector if necessary.

Not releasing completely

First possibility is that the brake pedal is adjusted with too little freepay, and the master cylinder can't return far enough to release fluid pressure back to the reservoir.
Second possibility a caliper may be sticking.
You can tell that by heat, since only one would stick and the other would be much cooler. (careful not to get burned. It can easily be very hot.)
Third possibility is a bad wheel bearing, which allows the rotor to wobble and press itself against the brakes. But this should vary on turns, and feel as a vibration in the brake pedal and steering wheel.

Carriage return problem

If it returns with the express key the latching mech. on the rt. side is probably gummy. Take off the case, get some WD40 and spray the mechinism that latches the ret on the rt. side below the platen.

There should be a set screw that you can tighten in order to adjust the height return. If you do not have anything like this, perhaps your record is raised too much. How thick is your rubber mat? Do you have any other mats sitting on top of this?
