Question about Acer Aspire One PC Notebook
Sounds like you may have a virus, spyware, malware, etc. That could screw with the sound if it screwed up the sound drivers.
Regardless, you can go here to get the drivers for the audio:
Try reinstalling the drivers, if that doesn't work then use the system restore utility in the system tools folder to restore your computer back to the last date that is was working properly. If your windows registry was messed up then this system restore will fix that and the sound problem.
Also run a virus scan on your computer to make sure you don't have any viruses or spyware.
With the system taking longer then normal to start then that could mean the operating system is corrupt. In that case back-up all your important files to a flash drive and wipe out the hard drive and restore the laptop back to factory defaults, you should have gotten the software if you bought the laptop from a store new.
