ALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR DRYER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO DO ANY WORK ON IT.
Check to make sure you are getting full 220 Volt power to the dryer, if you are then:
Sounds like your problem may be with the heating coil. Remove the back of the machine and try to
locate the air duct going from the blower to the drum. Normally inside the air duct you will find
the heating coil and the thermostats/thermistor. Once you have located the heating coil, remove
the two wires from it and check the coil with an ohm meter across the two terminals of the coil.
You should read continuity across the terminals, if not you will need to replace the coil as it
is faulty. If the heating coil is ok, then: You can check the thermostat/thermistor by removing
the two wires and taping them together with electrical tape. If the coil heats up then replace
the thermostat/thermistor. DO NOT LEAVE THE WIRES TAPED TOGETHER AFTER THE TEST. This could cause
a fire, as you have removed the safety of overheat from the machine. I will include these two web
sites for parts and further help:
http://www.partselect.com/ http://www.appliancepartspros.com/index.aspx
Both also have chat assistance 24/7.
Good Luck, Hope this helps

My clothes are still to wet after spin cycle..GE WKSE5260E. What is causing this?

you may have a pump not working correctly or the spin cycle is not coming up to proper speed or a control board failing .
1st off lets look at the unit after you have ran a load are the clothes still wet or damp ?
so lets check the water with out a load of clothes in it and lets see what happens when it goes to a drain cycle and i think your machine should have a rinse and drain cycle ? does it pump the water out quickly . im betting it does not at the bottom there is a access panel for service behind this door you will find a pump with a clean out filter after making sure you have as much water out of the unit and before you take the filter out of the pump . be sure to have some towels and a bucket as there will be water that will come out of the outer tub and it will end up on your floor . after you have gotten this far check the filter and see what may be in it pens coins socks lots of things end up there when pockets do not get cleaned out .and a pump could also be failing .
if you still have the problem you may want to consider calling your local servicer to take care of the matter

I have a Whirlpool Gas Dryer LGR6646BI-12 the clothes feel warm but not hot and they are still damp

The Dryness Level allows adjustment of how damp or dry the clothes are at the end of the cycle.
  1. Make sure the correct Cycle has been selected for the type of fabric being dried.
  2. If the correct cycle is selected and the clothes are still coming out too damp, use the Auto Dry Level button (Kenmore) or Dryness Level button to increase the Dryness level.

  1. If the highest Dryness Level setting was selected and the clothes are still damp, the Customer Focused Drying Mode settings that are built into the machine can be adjusted.
Dryers come from the factory set to Drying Mode 1 (default). Drying Modes 2 and 3, include additional drying time.
Note: This change will affect ALL Auto Dry cycles.
  1. Machine MUST be in Standby mode before beginning. (Standby mode = Plugged in, Power off)

  1. To select drying modes, momentarily press the Auto Dry Level button (Kenmore) or Dryness Level button (Whirlpool) again. The dryer will beep, and the display will flash and show the next drying mode number.
  1. With the door open and the display flashing the desired drying mode number, press the Start button to save the drying mode and exit diagnostics.
  1. Press the Pause/Cancel key at any time to cancel changes and exit from this mode.
Hope this works............

After running a load, the inside of our clothes dryer is damp; however the clothes do get dry. What could be causing the moisture?

overloding or keeping the clothes inside too long after cycle ends....also check venting for kinks or clogs
