Question about Logic Keyboard Adobe Photoshop Customized Wireless keyboard for Mac G5 LKBUPHSHAPG5
My A1016 Logic FCP wireless keyboard just stopped working while I was using it. Inside the battery compartment, one of the batteries was swollen, but no acid had leaked out. I replaced the batteries and it worked fine for a few days, then quit again. Replaced with brand new batteries. Nothing. I could borrow my wife's Apple keyboard to seek a solution but don't really know where to start. Using my wireless mouse, which works fine, I looked in control panel and also under Applications for any info or dialogue boxes re: Logic keyboard. Couldn't find anything. Any one have any ideas?
Sounds like the keyboard is bad because its eating batteries up to quickly. I would probably try a good quality battery like Duracell or Energizer. If you were already using those then don't buy any. If you haven't tried those batteries then try those and see if the same thing happens, if it does then you know the keyboard would have to be replaced.
My gut feeling is when you saw the swollen battery inside of your keyboard then that was the begininng of the keyboard going bad.
