Need a repair manual for propane grill #463-2235. It's a 45000 btu outdoor char broil grill. The ignitor doesn't work even after changing battery. Could it need a new ignitor. It was covered outside during two winters, but not used.

The "nozzles", as you called them are actually the burner orifice. If you remove the burners and look back into the control panel, you should see the orifices that the plumber installed. They unscrew with a nut driver to be removed. Do this one at a time, installing the LP Gas Orifice immediately after removing the Natural Gas one. Be careful not to mix them up and reinstall the Natural Gas ones.
You will also need a LP Gas Regulator/Hose Assembly to connect to the grill tank, that you will be using. You can pick one up at any hardware store or home improvement center that sell grills & accessories. It runs about $30.00.

Grill should have a push button igniter located on control knob panel. The ignitor requires a battery, usually AA. Remove the cap and put in battery. Make sure propane tank has propane and turn on. Make sure all connections are tight. You can also manually light it by going through the view hole located at bottom front or side. Make sure your match or lighter is in and lit before turning on gas.

First thing can you hear and smell propane running. If you can then try and start with a match. If this works your ignitor is probably dirty in the grill area. Where wire connects under grill look at the metal that this is connected to, could be dirty with grease or just needs to be bent closer to metal that it sparks off of. If this doesn't work then ignitor button is bad and needs to be replaced. You can buy at lowes or home depot.
