RV AC is not my specialty but icing up is caused by only one thing; a restriction in the refrigerant line. The restriction is usually caused by the unit being low on refrigerant (needs to be recharged) but could also be from another cause such as one of the lines being bent/kinked or a compressor problem that let oil or something else into the lines.
Since the unit is probably low on refrigerant charging it up will cure the problem, however you'll still need to determine why it's low - just older and the leak was over time or a leak in some component of the coil or line set.
You may be able to recharge it yourself or your RV service man can either do it or point you to an HVAC tech with the appropriate experience.
Good Luck

SOURCE: The inside RUUD AC unit has ice and no cold air is blown

it is likely low on coolant or as some say "freon" that or the indoor fan motor has not run properly. let it thaw completely by shutting it off and just turning on your fan switch from auto to the on positon. if you begin to feel air flow eventually you need coolant added b/c you probably have a leak from the system being old

This is how the problem manifests itself now: - When I picked up the car from dealer two days ago at the border the AC was not at first ice-cold, but after a short while it got ice-cold. - I drove for 90...

Check to see if there is a thermometer built in to the ac controler. It could be dirty dusty or defective. Also check ac fans to make sure one or both are working well and check ac pressure to make sure you have enough freon.

Air is not blowing cold ice on coils

Air conditioning is all about the proper airflow across the condenser and evaporator coil (coil panel). Be sure your filters are clean and there are not any obstructions such as a dirty condenser coil. Also check all tubing and fitting connections for signs of oil which would indicate a refrigerant leak and has now caused the AC to be insufficiently charged. This would cause ice build-up on the evaporator (coil panel) and the out-put of only 70 degrees.

Put new AC compressor on, ice cold air for 2 days then blowing cool to warm air. Compressor is working but air not cold. Sometimes will get a small burst of cooler air but doesn't last.

You did'nt mention if you got the system refilled with Refrigerant after the Compressor was replaced or not. If not, that could be the problem.

My central air unit comes on but it's not cool and

to me it sounds like filter are dirty, need to be cleaned or replaced, home systems, packaged or otherwise are hermetically sealed and should not need freon recharge. Always start with airflow and/or unit being set too low. An AC unit of any type will build ice if a) the filter is plugged up and can't move enough air, b) it has been run without the filter, clogging the coil, again, not moving enough air, c) setting an AC unit below 68 degrees F will almost ALWAYS cause icing, and d) running a standard AC when it's warm inside and cold outside (unless equipped for "low-ambient operation"). When in doubt, a bit of maintenance(thorough cleaning) by someone with AC skills can cure a b, common sense will cure c d.

Jetta AC mixes hot and cold air

You won't get ice cold because it mixes to prevent evaporator ice up and cracked windshiels.
