Hello,
Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} One of two common possible problems. Either 1) Your AC adapter needs to be reset or 2) Your AC Adapter is bad.

Most power issues with the Wii can be fixed by resetting the AC adapter. You can easily reset the AC adapter by following these steps:
Unplug the Wii AC adapter at both ends (from the back of the Wii system and from the wall outlet or power strip).

The AC adapter must remain unplugged at both ends for a full 2 minutes.

After you've waited 2 minutes, plug the AC adapter into the Wii system and directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector or power strip. If the power light comes on and stays on, then it appears resetting the AC Adapter worked.

If it's not working, you can get a *new* NINTENDO brand AC adapter at the following
Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} store.richspsxparts.com/wiiredvddr.html.
Beware of cheaper knockoffs around the internet.

I know it might sound reasonable but a lot of times if you remove the battery for 5+ seconds or so.Replace the battery and turn the phone back on. It might reboot up right you have nothing to loose

All of a sudden the MP560 won't turn on. The outlet is working but the printer doesn't respond to the ON button. I've checked the power cord it seems to be ok, the cord hasn't moved or been...

This may be a longshot, but many electronic devices like TVs, dryers with electronic computerized controls, entertainment systems like the Wii, and other devices sometimes get "confused" and won't turn on, turn off, or otherwise work properly, perhaps due to a small power surge in your AC line.

I've found that one of the first things to try when it appears to be a failure of the electronics and not a mechanical issue is to unplug the device at the wall (to make sure that any power adapter is also unplugged) and wait about 10 minutes for any residual electric charge to dissipate. Then plug the device back in and give it a try. This has worked with a television, a Wii console, an electric clothes dryer, and some other devices that I thought had died for good. This may explain why sometimes a device is taken to a repair shop and it works fine.

There are, of course, other reasons that the unit won't turn on, but I would try this first before looking for other reasons for the problem.

When i try to turn my Wii on it will not come on there are no lights or anything how do i fix this problem

This happens if you have had a power outage. Here's what you should do:

  1. Unplug the Wii AC adapter at both ends (from the back of the Wii system and from the wall outlet or power strip).
  2. The AC adapter must remain unplugged at both ends for a full 2 minutes.
  3. Unplug anything connected to the USB ports (such as LAN Adapters, keyboards, Nintendo GameCube controllers, etc.).
  4. After you've waited 2 minutes, plug the AC adapter into the Wii system and directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector or power strip. If the power light comes on and stays on, then it appears resetting the AC Adapter worked.
Hope that works for you.

My wii system will not turn on. every time I hit the power or eject button the red light will flash yellow and then turn off. If I unplug the cords the light will be red again, but I push the power button...

Hi, you may just need to reset the power lead, to do this unplug it from the wii, then unplug it from the wall, now leave it all unplugged for 5 min this will allow the power lead to reset then plug it all back in and give it a try.

if after doing the above it still dont work then the chances are the wii has over heated so check if you have any warranty left as this fault is covered, if you dont then you need to find someone who can reflow the solder for you on the 2 main chips under the heat sink, this is not easy to do and could cause more harm then good so be warned.

let me know what happens after unplugging the lead ok

Wii stopped working. the light is not on. There is a disk inside that won't eject. We tried unplugging and replugging everything. Could it just be the 3V battery ?

did the power go out while your Wii was plugged up and on or in sleep mode? if it was, you probably need to unplug you wii from everything and let it sit for a few minutes. your Wii probably just got 'shocked' by the sudden lack of a power source. If the power didnt go out, then I dont know how to help you~ Sorry. I hope I helped!! ^-^
