SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

When i plug my external microphone into the 3.5mm jack it doesnt work

First you need to check that the microphone works by plugging it in something else. If that works, go to Control Panel - Sounds and check that the mixer unit has microphone enabled. If it is, then the socket is faulty.

Also make sure you are putting in the microphone socket and not the earphones or auxiliary in socket.

I cant hear the other person on skype but they can hear me

make sure your version of skype is the latest version. open up skype. in the main window that you see after logging in point your mouse to the tools dropdown menu. then click on options. then click on the audio settings tab on the left. under the microphone tab select your computers microphone or the microphone you are trying to use such as the webcam microphone. click on save. if it still doesnt work then try using a different microphone. if that doesnt work then reinstall your microphone driver. and repeat the steps before the reinstallation.

MY MICROPHONE DOESNT WORK

Go to Hardware and Sound in Control Panel, choose Manage Audio Devices, select Recording, click on Microphone and test the microphone built into your computer. If the results are unsatisfactory, buy an external (USB) microphone and plug it in.
