Call up your service provider help line as there are various settings which are service provider specific.
otherwise it just requires a sms sending to their designated number and you will receive the settings and you just have to save them.
otherwise the phone also some times autodetects and just restart , i.e, swqitch on and switch off the phone .
that should help and save the settings provided.
