Question about Televison & Video
I have a Logic 54cm Coulor Television. And we have been experiencing power cuts very often lately. After the last power cut, my tv won't switch on, it looks like the power is off even though its on. I have tried to change the fuse (2.5 which is exactly the same as the old one) but it blows as soon as we switch on the power. do you possibly have any suggestions???
SOURCE: T.V. turns itself off
before any attempt to deep cause of problem, unsolder first all the tack switches in the front panel of tv.then turn on the tv using remote control observe? cuz maybe one of the switches is stock.if not, proceed to eeprom servicing which is u have to look for service mode of ur tv model to unlock it and reset it to factory value.

SOURCE: tv will not cut on
there is no recall on sharp tv that i know about if your tv is still on warranty take it back to the supplier.if the warranty is finish call a tech the tv has a problem in the power supply and related circuit.good luck.

SOURCE: TELEVISION HAS MIND OF ITS OWN
It's possessed just like mine! ;) So I have no idea besides a basic check:
Does the tv do this even when you take the batteries out of the remote, and block the sensor in the tv with tape or something to make sure its not someones remote doing it?

If the main fuse keeps blowing, check the horizontal output transistor for a shorted condition and diodes in that section as well.
